The Senior Completions Engineer optimizes unconventional well completion designs, frac efficiency, performance, costs, and operational safety. Responsibilities include technical analysis, post-job reviews, business cases, AFEs, cost forecasting, field troubleshooting, procedure development, vendor evaluation, regulatory compliance, SOP maintenance, and completion KPI monitoring. The role collaborates with drilling, production, reservoir engineering, procurement, data teams, contractors, and field personnel, with frequent travel and occasional work outside normal business hours.

Executes monthly and quarterly accounting close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, financial analysis, and internal reporting. Analyzes expenses, capital expenditures, variances, and account activity while supporting SOX controls, audits, U.S. GAAP compliance, process improvements, ERP enhancements, automation, and special projects. Partners with Operations, Finance, Land, Revenue, and accounting teams to maintain accurate and timely records.

Supports SEC financial reporting, including Form 10-Q and 10-K preparation, disclosures, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement reviews. Performs technical accounting research, implements accounting standards, documents SOX controls, supports audits, and analyzes complex transactions. The role also contributes to reporting process improvements, automation, and system enhancements while partnering with Treasury, Tax, Finance, and Operations teams.
