Responsibilities include schematic creation, component selection, PCB development, board bring-up, troubleshooting, technical analysis, design reviews, and collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams. The role also provides technical guidance to less experienced engineers and supports the development of next-generation combat aviation technologies.

Leads enterprise cloud solution architecture and implementation, primarily on Azure with some AWS. Designs secure, scalable, compliant, and cost-effective solutions; develops architecture documentation, integration patterns, IaC, and CI/CD standards; validates implementations; and guides security, governance, resilience, automation, FinOps, and operational readiness. The role also contributes to systems analysis, requirements management, and stakeholder reviews.

Develop system requirements, interface specifications, operational models, and end-to-end information flows for a military system-of-systems program. Elicit requirements from Department of National Defence stakeholders, create MBSE diagrams and operational views, manage requirements traceability, support verification and validation, write test cases, and produce VCRMs. Present updates and conduct reviews with internal and external stakeholders while contributing to networking, security, and technical analysis activities.

Develop and integrate FPGA-based solutions for safety-critical mission computing systems using VHDL and/or Verilog. Responsibilities include requirements, design, simulation, verification, integration testing, fault investigation, test-bench development, technical documentation, and collaboration with embedded software, hardware, systems, government, industry, and academic teams. The role also supports applying AI/ML models in FPGA and embedded computing environments for next-generation UK combat aircraft.

Responsibilities include designing and optimizing IP and VLAN networks, validating Cisco and VoIP systems, conducting software and system-level testing, documenting results, resolving issues in Linux and Windows environments, and collaborating with coalition partners. Lead human factors engineering activities across defense programs, including task and workload analysis, usability assessments, requirements development, risk mitigation, standards compliance, and design validation. Leads enterprise data engineering and AI platform strategy, including Azure, Snowflake, and MuleSoft architectures; scalable pipelines, APIs, data lakes, warehouses, governance, integration, real-time processing, and AI capabilities such as RAG and vector search. Partners with stakeholders to deliver trusted data products supporting analytics, automation, reporting, machine learning, and enterprise AI initiatives.

Leads IT business management across technology finance, FinOps, budgeting, forecasting, investment governance, business cases, vendor management, sourcing, procurement, and portfolio oversight. Partners with Finance, Procurement, Legal, PMO, IT, and executives to optimize technology spending, manage contracts, evaluate investments, support RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, and align technology investments with corporate priorities.

Leads international business development for tactical communications and information systems across a defined geographic region. Responsibilities include market and competitor analysis, pipeline development, capture strategy, business case creation, partner and government relationship management, proposal collaboration, negotiations, and thought leadership. The role targets revenue growth, strategic contract wins, and channel expansion across the defence and security sector, with international travel and hybrid work between South Wales and Canada.

Provides primary local IT support for the Calgary office, handling service desk requests, endpoint troubleshooting, asset deployment, inventory, lifecycle coordination, and security remediation. Supports Windows environments, Microsoft 365, hardware, peripherals, mobile devices, printers, conferencing tools, and endpoint management systems.
