Provide comprehensive care coordination including assessment, discharge planning, resource identification, documentation, crisis intervention, and continuity of care across treatment teams and community services. Participate in patient care meetings and trauma/emergency response as needed.

Supervise and coordinate a clinical laboratory section: prioritize workflow, perform and verify testing, maintain instrumentation and QC/QA, perform phlebotomy and special collections, manage inventory, train and orient staff, participate in equipment selection and budgeting, and provide coverage for the Laboratory Director.

Review clinical documentation and coding, perform physician and coding audits, analyze denied claims, collaborate with providers and vendor partners, design training and instructional tools, and serve as liaison to improve documentation accuracy and billing compliance.

Provide direct patient care in a nephrology clinic: check patients in, obtain vitals and histories, document visits in the EHR/EMR, perform point-of-care testing, administer injections/IV medications, manage sample medication logs, triage phone calls and refill requests, assist with office procedures, and educate patients per provider plans.

Perform specialized CT procedures, obtain and prepare patients, administer IV contrast and perform venipuncture, operate CT equipment and imaging software, ensure radiation protection and image quality, assist with interventional procedures and sterile prep, document findings, take department call, and participate in continuing education to maintain competency.

Performs specialized diagnostic ultrasound exams, tailoring procedures to patient needs, operating equipment per specifications, assisting with interventional procedures, preparing images and preliminary findings for physician review, and participating in continuing education.

Operate the hospital communications center: answer and transfer calls, manage PBX/radio/paging and mass notification systems, monitor equipment alarms, alert response teams, maintain physician on-call schedules, and uphold confidentiality and customer service standards.

Provide comprehensive nursing care in Same Day Services: assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document care; coordinate and delegate to team members; communicate with physicians; perform patient teaching; participate in quality improvement, precepting, and unit activities.

Provide nursing care in a pediatric clinic: check patients in, obtain vitals and histories via EHR/EMR, triage calls, administer medications/immunizations, support in-office procedures, maintain sample medication logs, document care, and educate patients/families per provider directives.

Provide direct patient care in an outpatient clinic: check patients in, obtain vitals and histories, document in the EHR, perform point-of-care testing, triage phone calls, support in-office procedures, administer injections/IV medications, and maintain medication and refrigeration logs.

Transport patients safely to Diagnostic Imaging, maintain clean work areas and equipment, manage oxygen tank supply, sanitize transport devices, report equipment repair needs, and assist imaging technologists as required.

Coordinate clinical trials by enrolling subjects, collecting and maintaining source data, scheduling visits, handling specimens, managing investigational agent inventory, interacting with sponsors/monitors, and ensuring protocol and regulatory compliance.
