Lead end-to-end initiative areas: research opportunity space, set strategy, scope products/orgs, recruit founders, manage contractors and vendor relationships, commission work, run fellowships, and deliver concrete outcomes (specs, recruited teams, or reasoned decisions not to pursue). Collaborate with FLF staff and report to the COO.

The Communications Director and Staff Director will lead CARMA's communications strategy and provide executive support, ensuring effective operations and alignment across teams. Responsibilities include managing content for outreach, overseeing project workflows, and enhancing organizational efficiency while promoting AI safety initiatives.

Develop and operate a system for argumentation related to AI safety, utilizing ontologies and knowledge graphs while collaborating with various stakeholders.

The Research Engineer will develop AI platforms focusing on alignment challenges, multi-agent systems, and optimization algorithms while collaborating on technical publications and prototypes.
