Supervise and develop staff, oversee tooling maintenance and new tooling development, improve tooling quality and reliability, manage inventories and budgets, collaborate with production to troubleshoot tooling issues, and drive continuous improvement and standardization.

Lead continuous improvement of manufacturing processes to boost profitability and quality. Recommend and implement capital, tooling, and process changes. Maintain production routings, work standards, and capacity planning data. Ensure contract quality compliance and coordinate quality practices across departments. Create CNC programs manually and with programming/nesting software. Support cross-functional manufacturing initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned.

Provide quality and engineering support for manufacturing, focusing on welding and steel fabrication. Lead continuous improvement, APQP/PPAP, root-cause analysis, testing, inspection, and documentation to ensure product and process quality and production efficiency.

Manage customer orders and inquiries from placement through delivery, coordinate with operations for scheduling, handle post-sale issues (quality, shipping, credit), maintain shipment records via EDI, calculate pricing/charges, and build customer relationships to ensure satisfaction.

Operate and set up CNC and mechanical press brakes and Whitney plasma punch; perform press maintenance and preventive diagnostics; produce parts per shop orders, set tooling, clearances, lubrication, and measurements; read drawings and precision tools; detect and service tools; multitask and perform other assigned duties.

Develop, manage, and enforce EHS programs to ensure regulatory compliance and a safe manufacturing workplace. Lead training, emergency response, regulated waste management, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce hazards and improve safety culture.

Operate metalworking machines and hand tools to fabricate, assemble, wire, and weld steel components per blueprints. Set up jigs/fixtures, inspect welds, perform rework, and support production and safety goals.
