The Principal Product Quality Engineer leads quality for new products, ensuring design assurance and reliability while collaborating across teams to enhance production readiness and compliance with quality standards.

Lead system requirements, architecture, integration, and V-cycle validation for products. Interface with customers, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage interfaces, perform trade studies and analyses, and drive requirements through launch.

Lead cross-functional R&D projects as scrum master and product owner under an agile framework. Create and own project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers; track technical feature delivery, remove impediments, run reviews, align stakeholders, and represent customer priorities throughout development.

Lead and maintain classified information systems, manage ATO lifecycle, perform continuous monitoring, build and maintain air-gapped systems, develop security policies and training, conduct risk assessments and incident response, and travel to test sites (up to 25%).

Lead and manage the company's import/export compliance program, ensuring adherence to ITAR, EAR, OFAC and U.S. Customs rules. Draft export licenses and jurisdiction classifications, implement policies and procedures, run denied‑party screening, support audits and investigations, and collaborate with engineering, legal, contracts, and security teams. Deliver training, monitor regulatory changes, and use government IT systems (DECCS, SNAP‑R) to manage export‑controlled technical data.

Lead corporate governance and legal operations including contracting playbooks, select and implement automation tools, manage Carta equity administration and cap table, support compliance (SEC, 409A), partner with Legal/Finance/HR, and scale legal ops and document governance for audits, financings, and M&A.

Responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data capture and cost evaluation program to optimize the total life cycle cost of products at Epirus, integrating various data sources to inform design decisions and improve affordability.

Develop, baseline, and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) across concurrent defense/commercial programs using MS Project. Integrate cost and schedule data, support IBRs/PMRs, perform schedule risk analysis and Monte Carlo simulations, translate SOW into networked schedules, track critical path and schedule margin, support proposals, audits, and continuous improvement of scheduling standards.

Develop and execute RF, Antenna OTA, and EMC tests to aerospace/defense standards; create automation scripts (Python, MATLAB); troubleshoot with clients; analyze data and produce compliance-ready reports; coordinate with Torrance lab; support calibration and preventive maintenance.

Design, verify, and integrate FPGA systems for RF applications. Collaborate with teams to produce innovative hardware solutions. Lead testing phases.

Lead design and integration of power distribution and power electronics for high-power microwave phased-array systems. Develop system power budgets, define technical specifications and safety standards, prototype and test prime power and battery subsystems, perform hands-on wiring and debugging, and coordinate suppliers and subsystems through productization.

Develop and maintain supplier quality programs, perform audits and supplier qualification, lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions, support FAIs and process validation, track supplier KPIs, and collaborate with engineering and supply chain to ensure supplier readiness and product quality.

Lead development and implementation of pallet bonding, SMT, and manual electronics assembly for low/mid-volume PCBA. Drive process development, equipment selection/validation, yield improvement, PFMEA, lean/Six Sigma initiatives, NPI support, training, and production standards to ensure quality and manufacturing efficiency.

Lead integration and test of complex electro-mechanical defense systems across the lifecycle. Develop system and qualification tests, specify test hardware/software, perform RF chamber and field testing, automate measurements and analyze data, resolve subsystem integration issues, capture design-for-test practices, and transition test procedures to manufacturing while supporting final system acceptance.

Lead early-stage M&A sourcing, screening, valuation, and financial modeling for defense technology; coordinate due diligence and integration; produce market intelligence, build external relationships with primes, VCs, and banks; prepare executive and board materials; collaborate cross-functionally to inform corporate strategy and product planning.

Design, build, and support automated test systems for RF, digital, and power electronics in production. Create test requirements, triage yield issues with manufacturing, run environmental qualification campaigns, support prototyping, and maintain test system lifecycle and documentation.

Responsible for overseeing product quality from design to production for complex electro-mechanical assemblies, managing nonconformances, and implementing quality practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Lead systems engineering across the product lifecycle: define and manage system/subsystem requirements, maintain architecture in MBSE, coordinate requirement flow-down, perform trade studies and analyses, own interface and configuration management, and support integration, verification, and validation to ensure products meet customer needs.

Lead USAF business development by building USAF sales strategy, cultivating relationships with program managers and MAJCOMs, managing pipeline and capture activities, drafting ROMs/RFIs/RFPs, monitoring USAF budgets and priorities, and translating technical RF and directed-energy capabilities to customers.
