Supports business development and capture activities for DHS, federal, commercial, and industry opportunities. Identifies and shapes opportunities, researches customer requirements and procurement processes, develops relationships, coordinates with engineering and contracts teams, prepares proposals and presentations, tracks competitive activity, and improves repeatable business development processes. Requires defense or government-sector experience, familiarity with DHS acquisition mechanisms, strong communication skills, Secret clearance eligibility, and up to 25% travel.

Leads and scales the Systems Engineering organization, establishing architecture, requirements, integration, verification, validation, modeling, analysis, testing, and lifecycle processes. Serves as senior system-level technical authority for complex HPM systems, drives cross-functional technical decisions, manages risks and technical baselines, develops engineering talent, and aligns hardware, software, manufacturing, test, program management, customers, and stakeholders around product objectives and milestones.

Owns the planning, scheduling, coordination, and execution of product demonstrations for defense technology solutions. The role manages cross-functional readiness, logistics, test-range relationships, version control, performance tracking, customer feedback, documentation, compliance, and continuous improvement. It interfaces with engineering, business development, sales, marketing, executives, customers, and external partners while managing cost, schedule, risk, and evolving requirements in regulated defense or aerospace environments.
