Leads the Testing department and supervises testing technicians in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include workforce planning, training, scheduling, performance management, equipment readiness, functional testing, safety enforcement, quality reporting, root cause analysis, corrective actions, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement. The role spends approximately 75% of the workday on the production floor supporting employees, manufacturing flow, product compliance, and on-time delivery.

Supervises the Engineering Support Department, leads employees, manages production schedules, assigns work, monitors productivity, resolves issues, and ensures projects meet quality and performance goals. The role coordinates with upper management, hires and trains staff, provides feedback, promotes teamwork, and enforces company policies and procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Lead departmental production operations with focus on safety, quality, cost, and on-time delivery. Set goals, manage schedules, coach and develop staff, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement using standardized work and Lean practices to meet production targets and customer specifications.

Coordinate RFQ setup and tracking, update and maintain estimating database, archive and distribute department files, monitor contract reviews with Finance, prepare and distribute quote and quotation reports, and support Estimating Manager and Project Estimators to ensure timely quote delivery.

Support the Estimating team with accurate data entry of BOM part numbers, request and update vendor pricing, maintain BOM pricing, and scan/file documents. Opportunity to grow into project estimating.

Support engineering and production by performing QC on wiring diagrams, producing labels/nameplates, printing and organizing drawings, maintaining CAD drawings, operating laser engravers, and handling document control and record-keeping tasks for the fabrication shop.

Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and customer expectations for power management system manufacturing. Coordinate with customers, engineering, and production; deliver drawings; enforce quality standards and QMS; mentor junior PMs; resolve issues; track performance and implement improvements while working safely in a manufacturing environment.

Procure goods and services to meet operational needs: create and track purchase orders, manage inventory and EP2 stock, handle discrepancies and returns, source and maintain vendor relationships, and post invoices into Sequel.

Design AC/DC schematics and wiring diagrams for relay panels and control enclosures for power generation, transmission, and distribution. Review sub-contractor designs, ensure drawings meet industry standards, provide technical support to customers and fabrication, inspect products for conformance, and support functional testing alongside project management and fabrication teams.

Prepare and review engineering drawing packages, provide technical engineering and project support, assist manufacturing/fabrication, ensure projects meet specifications, quality, schedule, and budget, and collaborate with teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
