Provides direct nursing care to skilled nursing and rehabilitation residents, including medication and treatment administration, assessments, documentation, IV therapy, and care-plan implementation. Supervises and trains unlicensed nursing staff, coordinates assignments, communicates changes in resident condition, supports physician rounds, orders supplies and medications, and participates in quality improvement activities while complying with Pennsylvania nursing regulations and facility policies.

Lead accounting, reporting, accounts payable, and business office functions for a skilled nursing facility. Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, forecasts, and budgets; coordinate audits and Medicare/Medicaid activities; oversee billing, banking relationships, and business office staff; identify cost reduction or revenue enhancement opportunities.

Coordinates and delivers restorative nursing programs for skilled nursing residents, including mobility, range-of-motion, transfers, ADLs, positioning, and continence training. Assesses resident needs, develops care plans, monitors progress, documents services, supports MDS compliance, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and trains or oversees CNAs and restorative assistants. Promotes resident independence, regulatory compliance, quality outcomes, and continuity of care.

Provide and implement daily therapeutic, social, sensory, and spiritual activities for nursing home residents. Assist with outings, individual visits, meal coordination and feeding (after training), volunteer supervision, documentation, infection control, and resident safety under direction of the Life Enrichment Director.

Prepare and serve meals to nursing home residents, follow dietary and sanitation guidelines, assist with food preparation and dining room setup/breakdown, clean kitchenware and equipment, store supplies properly, and fulfill nourishment requisitions while maintaining cooperative, reliable, and resident-focused behavior.

Provide direct patient care to long-term care residents, comply with state and federal regulations, collaborate with the healthcare team, coordinate disciplines for patient care, and assess and coordinate discharge planning needs.

Oversees dietary department operations: hire, train, schedule and supervise staff; create menus and production sheets; manage inventory, ordering, billing and budget; ensure sanitation, food safety, kosher compliance, resident satisfaction, quality audits, and maintain Point Click Care resident nutrition records.

Plan, coordinate, and implement therapeutic, person-centered activities and outings for skilled, memory care, and rehab residents. Complete resident assessments, documentation (including CareTracker), train volunteers, report observations to nursing staff, follow infection control, and participate in meetings and trainings.

Night Shift Nursing Supervisor oversees third-shift nursing staff in a geriatric facility. Responsibilities include supervising and assigning staff, making rounds, documenting and communicating resident condition changes, obtaining physician orders, orienting and training staff, managing departmental resources and private duty personnel, acting as charge nurse as needed, and ensuring policy compliance and quality resident care.
