Paid engineering internship supporting post-market engineering, manufacturing sustaining, and continuous improvement teams. Interns will work under mentorship on real-world medical device projects involving continuous improvement, product development, and process engineering. The role requires collaboration with experienced engineers, application of technical skills, learning new engineering methods, and contributing to quality-focused projects. This is a 13-week, onsite internship at the Eight-Mile Plains facility, requiring 38 hours per week.

Manage governmental medical device tendering, including reviewing requirements, coordinating sales and cross-functional teams, preparing and submitting bids, negotiating fees, maintaining tender databases, analyzing tender data and policies, and guiding departments toward successful bidding outcomes.

Plans and executes medical device product registrations, license maintenance, regulatory submissions, change management, and Thai FDA negotiations in Thailand. Prepares submission dossiers and additional licenses, maintains regulatory systems, monitors local requirements, updates stakeholders, develops training materials, and provides compliance strategies to internal manufacturing sites and entities.

Lead China-focused product strategy and new product development for medical devices. Translate Chinese clinical, regulatory, reimbursement, and cost requirements into product definitions, guide R&D phase gates, shape regulatory and clinical strategies, identify local partners, and drive commercialization. The role coordinates global and China stakeholders across R&D, clinical, regulatory, quality, engineering, manufacturing, sales, and marketing while supporting launches, localization, pricing, procurement readiness, and product portfolio planning.

Leads medical device research and development projects, making key design decisions and solving complex engineering challenges. Provides technical leadership and subject matter expertise, collaborates with physicians, product managers, Quality, and Regulatory teams, and develops design history files, processes, procedures, and technical guidance. Supports innovation, intellectual property, project milestones, compliance, and product quality while mentoring colleagues. Requires engineering experience in medical devices or regulated industries and fluency in AI and data concepts.

Leads technical development and design activities for innovative medical devices. Supports design decisions, research, best-practice development, design history files, process improvements, intellectual property, and cross-functional project execution. Collaborates with subject matter experts, physicians, product managers, and regulated-industry teams to meet clinical needs, safety requirements, quality standards, and project milestones.
