Prosecute sexual assault felony cases through disposition or trial; prepare motions and legal filings; litigate hearings and jury trials; obtain protective orders; conduct detention hearings; coordinate with victim-witness specialists, advocates, and law enforcement; use trauma-informed, victim-centered practices and vertical prosecution strategies.

Prosecute felony, misdemeanor, and traffic matters in Cook County courthouses. Litigate motions, bench and jury trials, conduct preliminary hearings and grand jury work, manage discovery, work with law enforcement, witnesses, and victims, and make charging decisions. Must meet deadlines, communicate with diverse communities, and perform independent and team-based courtroom duties.

Provide trauma-informed advocacy, case management, crisis intervention, safety assessments and individualized service plans for crime victims. Coordinate referrals and transportation, maintain accurate case records and statistics, collaborate with prosecutors and community partners, conduct outreach and trainings, ensure victims understand rights and resources, and provide ongoing follow-up and support.

Litigate post-conviction felony matters: investigate constitutional claims, draft pleadings, present oral arguments, conduct evidentiary hearings, collaborate with investigators and courtroom ASAs, and manage a felony collateral caseload under unit supervision.

Perform requirements gathering, development, testing, and implementation of applications. Design databases and data pipelines, create documentation, build user-centered front ends, integrate with vendors and partner agencies, provide maintenance and training, and follow SDLC best practices while handling confidential information.
