Teams at Cook County State's Attorney's Office

Prosecute felony, misdemeanor, and traffic matters in Cook County courthouses. Litigate motions, bench and jury trials, conduct preliminary hearings and grand jury work, manage discovery, work with law enforcement, witnesses, and victims, and make charging decisions. Must meet deadlines, communicate with diverse communities, and perform independent and team-based courtroom duties.

Provide administrative support to Assistant State's Attorneys in Juvenile Justice and Child Protection: receive and enter case documents into JUSTICE NEXUS, prepare subpoenas and correspondence, manage case files in NICE and SharePoint, scan and process closed cases per destruction policy, assist reception and overnight call coverage, and handle confidential information.

Provide administrative support to supervisors and investigators including timekeeping and payroll, training coordination, database entry and maintenance, background checks, file management, report preparation, phone inquiries, and interaction with State's Attorney and external agencies while preserving confidentiality.
