Remote Scheduling Specialist creates and maintains clinician schedules for assigned hospitals, fills open shifts, tracks clinician hours for payroll, verifies credentials, supports site leadership, updates staffing and recruitment reports, monitors performance and financial metrics, and coordinates with credentialing, recruiting, and payroll teams.

Provide clerical and administrative support including scheduling, document preparation, data entry, phone handling, travel arrangements, supply management, invoice/expense coordination, and event support while maintaining confidentiality and assisting supervisors with departmental tasks.

Review and assign accurate CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes for physician professional fees, ensure compliance with payer and regulatory guidelines, perform coding audits and edits (e.g., Athena Collector), identify documentation gaps, collaborate with providers and revenue cycle teams, maintain HIPAA, and support coding education and special projects.

Provide interim on-site leadership for hospital supply chain operations, driving procurement, inventory, logistics, cost reduction, regulatory compliance, ERP-enabled process improvements, and stakeholder collaboration for short-term projects.

Provides patient-centered preoperative nursing care including assessments, medication administration, documentation, patient/family education, infection control, emergency response, and coordination with the care team. Participates in quality improvement, maintains competency, and supports various perioperative and specialty nursing functions as needed.

Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, ensure authorizations and referrals, calculate patient financial responsibility, document records, communicate with patients and providers, process pre-registration and orders, and support financial clearance for outpatient and inpatient services while maintaining compliance with payor guidelines.

Provide patient-centered nursing care in the cath lab including pre-, intra-, and post-procedure assessment and monitoring. Start and maintain IVs, administer medications, assist cardiologists, manage complications, document care, follow infection-control and safety protocols, participate in emergency responses, patient/family education, and quality improvement activities.

Provide peri-procedural, patient-centered nursing care in the cardiac catheterization lab: assess and prepare patients, initiate/maintain IVs, administer medications, assist cardiologists during procedures, monitor vitals/hemodynamics, manage complications, provide post-procedure care and education, document care, participate in quality and compliance activities. Requires coordination with interdisciplinary team and adherence to infection control and safety standards.

Oversee daily clinic operations, staff hiring/training/supervision, budget and financial management, ensure regulatory/HIPAA compliance, manage supplies and billing, incorporate quality improvement, and collaborate with leadership to optimize patient care and clinic efficiency.

Provide patient-centered care as a Resource Registered Nurse supporting admissions/discharges, medication reconciliation, emergency response (codes/RST), inpatient transfers, and regulatory survey readiness. Collaborate with physicians and care teams, perform assessments, administer medications, document care, educate patients/families, and participate in quality improvement and compliance activities.

Provides patient-centered post-anesthesia and perioperative nursing care using assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitors vitals, administers medications, manages IVs and airway support, responds to emergencies, educates patients/families, documents care, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams. Performs PACU-specific recovery tasks and may support critical care, OR, telemetry, NICU, and specialty units as needed.

Lead and manage the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, overseeing clinical operations, staff leadership, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, budgeting, and collaboration with cardiology and hospital leadership to optimize patient outcomes and departmental performance.

Oversee all administrative, fiscal, technical, and regulatory aspects of the hospital clinical laboratory. Manage quality control/assurance, point-of-care testing, staffing (hiring, evaluations, payroll), budgeting, equipment procurement, compliance with CAP/AABB/JCAHO/CLIA, interdepartmental collaboration, staff development, inventory, billing corrections, and participation in facility committees and performance improvement.

Provide patient-centered emergency nursing care including assessment, triage, medication administration, procedures (intubation, wound care, suturing), IV/ventilator management, life-saving interventions, documentation, infection control, patient/family education, and participation in quality and performance improvement. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and maintain clinical competency.

Provide patient-centered nursing care in a Progressive Care/Telemetry unit: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care; administer medications; monitor telemetry and other equipment; respond to emergencies; collaborate with care teams; educate patients/families; participate in quality, compliance, and performance improvement activities.

Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, prepare and position patients, verify orders and contraindications, collaborate with radiologists, perform quality control, document clinical history, and follow radiation safety and infection control protocols.

Provide patient-centered neonatal and NICU nursing care including assessments, medication administration, respiratory and IV support, family education, emergency response, documentation, infection control, and participation in quality improvement. Will be trained for neonatal transports after obtaining Level 3 NICU experience.

Obtain high-quality diagnostic radiographic images while ensuring patient safety, radiation safety (ALARA), infection control, and accurate documentation. Prepare patients, verify orders, perform CT/MRI contrast IV insertions, maintain equipment and supplies, scan documents into PACS, communicate with clinical teams, and support efficient department operations.

Provide clinical leadership during assigned shifts, oversee hospital operations, coordinate patient flow, manage staffing, respond to emergencies, ensure regulatory compliance, supervise nursing staff, handle patient/family concerns, conduct rounds, and support performance improvement and resource management in the absence of senior administrators.

Evaluate and manage patient nutritional care by performing assessments, creating and implementing individualized nutrition care plans, documenting in EMR, providing education, participating in care team meetings, assisting menu planning, maintaining policies, and supporting patient satisfaction initiatives.
