Support planning, coordination, and execution of COTALAND live entertainment and theming projects. Handle rehearsal logistics, performer check-ins, show calls, vendor scheduling, installation follow-up, timeline and budget tracking, and cross-department liaison work to ensure shows and themed environments are delivered on time and guest-ready.

Sell and process event tickets, manage will-call, assist patrons with ticketing and venue information, resolve mobile ticket issues with supervisors, process payments, and maintain professional appearance during events.

Fabricate, install, maintain, and repair themed scenic elements, signage, props, and set pieces for COTALAND. Perform foam carving, scenic painting and finishing, mold-making and vinyl application, support load-ins/outs, complete work orders, and maintain shop organization and safety while adapting to outdoor and event conditions.

Unpaid, 150-hour fall term internship for Texas Law students (2L, 3L, or LLM). Interns assist in-house counsel at a motorsports and entertainment venue, gain exposure to multiple practice areas, work closely with attorneys under a designated supervisor, and perform legal-support tasks while working on-site at events and outdoor environments.

Manage Attractions and Park Services operations at COTALAND, setting standards, supervising leadership, owning budgets and hiring, ensuring safety, guest experience, staffing, cross-functional coordination, and resolving major escalations.

Provide strategic financial leadership for COTALAND, directing budgeting, forecasting, P&L, cash flow, internal controls, and ROI/capital analyses. Develop and execute revenue management and pricing strategies, demand forecasting, and per-capita spend optimization across admissions, F&B, merchandise, and events. Own KPIs, partner cross-functionally, manage distribution strategy, and lead a team of financial analysts and labor schedulers to maximize revenue and profitability.

Support COTA’s social media by creating, scheduling, and monitoring content; pitch creative campaign ideas; organize digital assets; assist with event-day content capture and maintain social engagement.

Create and post weekly crew schedules for COTALAND operational areas using forecasted attendance, labor budgets, and staffing templates. Maintain workforce management data, partner with Finance and department leaders to meet labor targets, optimize scheduling efficiency, and support peak periods, special events, and seasonal transitions.

Supervise daily operations in Ride Operations, Park Services, or Guest Relations; lead Team Leads and Crew, enforce safety and service standards, manage staffing and schedules, coordinate with Maintenance, handle incidents and operational reporting, and conduct inspections and training to ensure efficient, guest-focused park operations.

Lead daily operations of COTALAND photo and midway gaming, managing staffing, vendor relationships, inventory/OTB purchasing, KPIs, equipment reliability, and guest-focused sales training to maximize revenue and operational excellence across multiple locations.

Lead day-to-day park operations for assigned area (Ride Ops, Park Services, or Guest Relations). Supervise and develop supervisors, team leads, and frontline crew; ensure safety compliance, guest service, staffing, queue and capacity management, incident response, and coordination with maintenance and other departments to maintain efficient, safe, and guest-focused operations.

Lead day-to-day operations of COTALAND’s Hot Lap program, managing fleet, staff, safety, inventory, and guest experience. Develop operational plans, coordinate maintenance and vendors, recruit and train teams, ensure compliance with safety standards, and drive continuous improvement for events and private experiences.

Supervise daily costume shop operations, staff scheduling, fittings, construction, alterations, laundry, inventory, and wardrobe support for shows, events, and character experiences while coordinating with production and vendors.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and back-of-house areas, operate commercial dishwashing equipment, remove trash/recycling, assist culinary teams with basic support tasks, follow food safety and health regulations, and support opening/closing procedures in a high-volume theme-park environment.
