Lead product design for complex CI/CD and developer-tooling experiences. Drive design strategy, user journey mapping, competitive analysis, rapid experiments, and measurable business outcomes. Partner with engineering and product leaders on roadmap and scope, ship solutions for technical users, and review team designs while coaching designers and maintaining high craft standards.

Build and lead the technical strategy for CircleCI Server, an on-premises CI/CD platform. Develop Kubernetes infrastructure, Helm-based deployment, release automation, testing tools, observability, and diagnostics using OpenTelemetry. Improve installation, upgrades, reliability, and operations across customer environments, including air-gapped deployments. Partner with Product, Engineering, Support, Customer Engineering, and customers while mentoring engineers and making architecture decisions across systems and teams.

Build and operate CircleCI’s data query platform, including ClickHouse storage, event-driven ingestion, Temporal workflows, APIs, indexing, caching, and tiered storage. Design schemas, optimize high-volume queries, improve reliability and observability, and lead architectural decisions. The role requires strong backend engineering, distributed systems expertise, AI-native practices, and technical leadership across production data systems.

Lead general ledger operations and month-end close for a global, multi-entity organization. Responsibilities include account reconciliations, journal entries, credit card and AP support, process documentation, audit support, compliance, variance analysis, and mentoring. The role also identifies opportunities to use AI and automation to improve accounting efficiency, accuracy, and controls.

Build and own full-stack software across CircleCI’s CI/CD, AI agent, deployment, notification, monetization, and web platform experiences. Define technical strategy, architect systems spanning teams, develop with Go, React, and TypeScript, establish observability practices, partner with Product and Engineering Management, and mentor engineers. The role requires shipping scalable systems, making architecture tradeoffs, applying AI-native engineering practices, and connecting technical decisions to business outcomes.

Own GTM strategy and operations, including KPI dashboards, revenue planning, quota tracking, forecasting, business reviews, and process optimization. Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to improve data integrity, operational efficiency, and growth. Build AI agents to automate recurring workflows and reporting. Use analytics and customer engagement metrics to generate actionable recommendations and drive measurable business outcomes.

Drive new-logo sales and expansion within strategic enterprise accounts across the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close. Sell CircleCI’s DevOps and CI/CD platform to engineering decision-makers, manage evaluations and POCs, forecast pipeline, negotiate large contracts, and build customer relationships. Collaborate with solution engineers, customer success, and product teams while using data-driven, value-based selling and Challenger and MEDDPICC methodologies.

Drive new-logo sales and expansion within strategic enterprise accounts across the NAMER region. Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, evaluations, negotiations, and closing seven-figure multiyear contracts. Build and forecast pipeline, sell technical DevOps solutions to engineering leaders, develop customer relationships, and collaborate with solution engineers, customer success, and product teams.

Lead and coach a team of Account Executives to open new enterprise accounts across North America. Own hiring, quotas, forecasting, and revenue/profitability while embedding AI-augmented sales tooling and sales methodologies (MEDDPICC, Challenger). Collaborate with Customer Success, Field Engineering, and Product to align strategy, analyze market trends, and continuously improve processes. Travel ~15% as needed.

Build AI-native, full-stack features end-to-end using Go, React, and TypeScript. Invent developer-facing interfaces for autonomous pipelines, prioritize reliability, observability, and operate distributed services using Honeycomb, Datadog, and Rollbar.

The Senior Software Engineer will build AI-centric tools, own full-stack development, set technical direction, and lead architectural decisions. They will ensure reliability, observability, and mentor other engineers while addressing gaps in processes.
