Deal Desk Associate
The Deal Desk Associate will be responsible for working on important daily tasks and projects to assist with the quote-to-cash process. The focus of this role will be managing the deal approval process and ensuring accuracy of all deals. This role will also be expected to assist the Revenue team with deal related requests and help improve processes to enable scale across the organization.
The ideal candidate will be an adaptable, highly motivated individual with the ability to work in a fast paced environment. It is important that the person in this role is extremely detail oriented, organized, and an operational thinker.
What you’ll do:
Contracting Process:
- Handle day to day deal requests from Sales and Customer Success teams.
- Review, analyze and approve all customer quotes to ensure contracts follow our contract guidelines and will impact the customer’s account as expected.
- Analyze impact of deals on downstream systems and processes including forecasting, commissions, customer accounts and accounting.
- Host regularly scheduled office hours for the Revenue team to discuss deal strategy.
- Coach the Revenue team on the technical aspects of the quoting process.
- Educate the Revenue team on provisioning, accounting and legal impacts of their deals.
- Identify areas for process improvement and make recommendations to increase efficiency across the Deal Desk and GTM teams.
- Use Excel or Google sheets to model out Multi-Year deals for the GTM Team and cross-functional teams to reference.
Administration:
- Ensure accuracy of all Closed-Won deals.
- Prepare and maintain internal Deal Desk process documentation as well as GTM enablement guides.
- Run daily, weekly and monthly reports for action items and to analyze gaps in our quoting and deal processes. Resolve these gaps.
- Maintain agreed upon SLAs - Quote approval and provisioning turnaround times.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years experience in a deal desk, contract administration, or operations role
- Proficiency in Salesforce, HubSpot, GSuite, and Excel
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment
- Strong problem solving and prioritization skills
- Ability to work cross functionally and independently
- Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to maintain outstanding attention to detail
United States Base Pay Range
$74,000—$92,000 USD
