Drives commercial growth and terminal utilization by securing bulk and breakbulk cargo business, developing customer relationships, managing sales pipelines, creating proposals, negotiating agreements, and coordinating successful operational implementation. Conducts market and competitive analysis, forecasts revenue and cargo volumes, represents the company at industry events, and develops logistics partnerships. The role serves customers across maritime, shipping, logistics, manufacturing, commodity, and industrial sectors while promoting Charleston terminal capabilities.

Manage commercial contract lifecycles, prepare quotes and amendments, coordinate signatures, monitor renewals, and maintain customer and contract records. Collect onboarding documents with Accounts Receivable, update shared files and tracking tools, support calendars and meetings, and communicate contract updates to Operations and Finance. The role also prepares status summaries and improves administrative processes. Occasional travel to port, yard, vessel, or job-site locations may be required.

Serves as a strategic HR partner to leadership and employees, managing recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, workplace investigations, performance support, engagement, HRIS records, compliance, and policy improvements. Analyzes HR trends, supports organizational change and talent initiatives, and advises leaders on workforce matters while promoting an inclusive, accountable workplace culture.
