Supports Voice of Customer programs and CX research through surveys, interviews, data analysis, dashboard development, survey audits, and actionable recommendations. The intern also contributes to customer research studies, employee recognition content, and sharing customer experience trends and best practices. This unpaid co-op internship requires enrollment in a post-secondary program and offers hands-on experience in qualitative and quantitative research, survey design, customer insights, and business reporting.

Lead Canlan Sports’ brand identity and marketing creative across digital, print, social, sponsorship, and in-person channels. Develop campaigns, oversee visual execution, maintain brand standards and design systems, manage creative vendors, and mentor designers. Collaborate with marketing, sales, sponsorship, content, product, web, and senior leadership teams to deliver cohesive brand experiences and strengthen customer engagement.

Manages ice rink facility operations, including ice production and maintenance, refrigeration, HVAC, janitorial services, building maintenance, staffing, scheduling, safety, supplies, budgets, utilities, and capital projects. Supervises, recruits, trains, and develops staff; troubleshoots equipment and facility issues; coordinates ice maintenance schedules; monitors equipment readings, service requests, consumption, invoices, and operating standards.

Lead the strategic direction, growth, and daily operations of an international figure skating program. Oversee recreational through high-performance pathways, coordinate coaches and consultants, grow membership, support athlete progression, manage scheduling and ice utilization, monitor performance metrics, and promote Safe Sport and inclusive programming. The role requires strong stakeholder communication, operational planning, leadership, and knowledge of Skate Canada standards.

Coordinates multi-sport league operations by collecting registration fees, preparing schedules, maintaining league statistics and CRM records, enforcing waivers and suspension procedures, supporting prize presentations, and communicating with team representatives, referees, timekeepers, spectators, and facility management. The role requires strong knowledge of multi-sport rules, customer service, organization, tournament draws, Microsoft Office, and flexible evening and weekend availability.

Supervise hands-on arena operations, including ice resurfacing and maintenance, facility repairs, ice plant monitoring, grounds upkeep, equipment maintenance, staff scheduling and training, supply ordering, safety compliance, and operational recordkeeping. The role requires flexible evening and weekend availability and responsibility for maintaining safe, clean, and functional sports facilities within approved budgets.

The Sales Manager develops and executes sales strategies for a sports complex, generates and converts leads, manages customer relationships, and drives revenue growth. Responsibilities include event and community program sales, contract management, surface utilization monitoring, market and sales data analysis, marketing plan execution, collections, and compliance with sales processes. The role also leads, coaches, and motivates the Sales and Events team while collaborating with marketing and operations.

Leads and delivers full-day, sport-specific camps for children, including on-ice and off-ice activities. Provides exceptional customer experiences, supervises activities, communicates with participants and teams, and supports a positive, organized camp environment. The role requires flexible availability, leadership, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and at least two years of sports instruction experience. Coaching or teaching experience is preferred.

Serve as the primary link between teams and facility management for ASHL leagues. Collect fees, manage schedules, maintain online statistics and CRM records, enforce rules and suspensions, communicate via nightly reports, liaise with team reps/referees/timekeepers, ensure waivers, and support prize presentations and customer experiences.

Officiate recreational hockey games according to recognized rules (CHA, ASHL, 3on3, YHL). Prepare and inspect teams, complete game sheets, record penalties/suspensions, ensure safety, report occurrences, and invoice as an independent contractor.

Manage daily office operations for two sports complexes, handling onboarding, payroll and accounting tasks, sales contract finalization, AR/AP, health & safety committee leadership, and regular manager-on-duty shifts to support staff and operations across locations.

Deliver full-day sport-specific camps including on-ice/field and off-ice activities. Provide excellent customer experiences, lead and supervise children, organize activities, communicate with parents and team, and apply coaching/instruction skills to ensure safe, engaging camp programming.
