Leads technical excellence for low- and medium-voltage electrical products across engineering, manufacturing, testing, commissioning, field service, and customer support. Establishes technical standards, testing and quality procedures, component standardization strategies, and scalable processes. Provides senior technical guidance, resolves complex electrical and customer issues, supports sales engineering, develops training programs, mentors technical personnel, qualifies service providers, and drives product reliability, supply chain resilience, and continuous improvement.

Own and build environmental, health, and safety programs across assigned manufacturing sites. Responsibilities include Cal/OSHA compliance, NFPA 70E electrical safety, hazardous energy control, industrial hygiene, incident investigations, environmental compliance, training, contractor safety, emergency preparedness, inspections, metrics, and corrective actions. The role requires daily floor presence, cross-functional influence, shared leadership of a safety specialist, and local travel between Sacramento-area facilities.

Owns manufacturing processes for wiring and electrical assembly of switchboards and switchgear. Develops work instructions, routings, tooling, fixtures, process controls, and documentation; supports production troubleshooting; leads Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen improvements; provides electrical design-for-manufacturability feedback; verifies build-to-print conformance; analyzes manufacturing KPIs; and ensures compliance with applicable UL, NFPA, NEC, and ANSI/IEEE standards.

Create accurate point-to-point wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and schematic support in AutoCAD for low- and medium-voltage distribution equipment. Manage drawing revisions, coordinate with EE leads, project engineers, and production, follow drafting standards and applicable electrical codes, participate in reviews, and contribute to process and library improvements.

Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, support production lines, lead continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma), manage equipment and tooling, enable new product introductions, maintain documentation, analyze production data, and support quality and safety compliance to improve efficiency and product quality.

Lead electrical design, testing, and certification for low/medium-voltage power distribution products from concept through production. Create schematics, BOMs, test plans, and reusable design models; coordinate with NRTLs, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams; support lab testing, failure analysis, DFM, and customer-facing technical activities. Mentor junior engineers and act as senior technical resource for NPI and production engineering.

Manage supplier quality for purchased electrical components and raw materials, lead containment and corrective actions (SCARs, 8D), support supplier qualification and audits (ISO 9001), handle customer quality complaints and audits, track quality metrics (PPM, returns), and collaborate with Product Engineering and Supply Chain to drive supplier and product quality improvements.

Own and improve quality across switchboard/switchgear manufacturing: inspection/testing, FAI/PPAP, SPC, FMEA, NCR/CAPA management, root-cause investigations, document control, QMS (ISO 9001) maintenance, and supplier/customer quality support.

Senior supply chain leader responsible for building and scaling end-to-end supply chain for a growing manufacturer. Lead demand and supply planning, SIOP, procurement, warehouse operations, material flow, and detailed scheduling. Serve as ERP subject-matter expert during implementation, drive continuous improvement, and build a high-performing supply chain organization.

Lead plant logistics and warehouse operations: design and optimize warehouse layout, ensure inventory transaction accuracy (D365/ERP), manage material flow to production, arrange transportation, implement cycle count programs and scanning/RFID, build and coach multi-site teams, drive Lean continuous improvement, and maintain safety/OSHA compliance.

Own the rolling 12-month unconstrained demand forecast, translate pipeline and bookings into a consensus demand plan, lead demand reviews with Commercial leadership, apply statistical forecasting and demand sensing, deliver plans to the Master Scheduler, and maintain forecast data, dashboards, and SIOP KPIs in D365 and Power BI.

Lead the assembly facility for low-voltage electrical distribution equipment, own throughput, quality (ISO 9001), safety, budget, and on-time delivery. Align engineering, quality, and supply chain, develop leaders, drive Lean/Six Sigma improvements, and report KPI performance.

Assemble and test moderately complex electrical wiring systems and control panels. Read and interpret multi-circuit schematics, perform electrical testing and troubleshooting, resolve routine rework independently, support quality and safety standards, and assist in training less-experienced wiremen.

Translate sales orders and forecasts into daily/weekly work orders, maintain job travelers and production data in D365, coordinate material and capacity with Supply Chain, monitor schedule adherence, report deviations, and recommend continuous improvement to ensure on-time, within-budget manufacturing execution.
