Industrial Design Intern supporting conceptual and production design for marine propulsion systems, controls, graphics, and related components. Responsibilities include creating 2D and 3D concepts, sketches, renderings, physical and digital models, rapid visualizations, and color, materials, and finishes proposals. The intern collaborates with industrial designers and engineers, participates in design critiques, and supports multiple product-development projects.

Own and improve high-volume manufacturing processes for transducer assemblies, including urethane moulding, encapsulation, tooling, fixturing, process validation, and change control. Establish controls for material handling, mixing, pouring, curing, and environmental conditions. Track yield, defects, capability, rework, and scrap while leading root-cause analysis and corrective actions. Collaborate with product development, quality, process engineering, and operations to improve manufacturability, reliability, automation, and production scalability.

Supports mechanical design of engine systems and components, validation testing, dimensional stack-ups, data analysis, failure investigations, and technical documentation. Collaborates with product design, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, customers, and internal teams while managing assigned engineering projects. Uses CAD/Creo and standard engineering techniques in a hands-on marine propulsion manufacturing environment.

Supports central accounting through fixed asset activities, intercompany reconciliations, month-end and quarterly close, account reconciliations, journal entries, financial analysis, reporting, audits, and process improvement projects. Maintains compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and U.S. GAAP while collaborating with accounting and finance teams. This onsite internship requires full-time availability from May through August 2027.

The Compliance Coordinator ensures product compliance with marine construction standards, conducts audits, tracks safety issues, and interfaces with various departments for improvements and training.

Leads the plant quality strategy and Quality Management System, ensuring customer satisfaction, product compliance, and manufacturing excellence. Manages the quality team, customer and supplier relationships, audits, problem-solving, process capability, SPC, continuous improvement, warranty reduction, and quality budgets. Partners with Production and Engineering to reduce defects, scrap, rework, supplier nonconformances, and cost of poor quality while maintaining safe work practices.

Supports Mercury US Engines and MerCruiser finance operations through month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and business-unit reporting. Provides financial support to R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Category teams; leads financial analysis for new product teams, develops business cases and sensitivity analyses, ensures financial statement conformance, and handles ad hoc analysis and special projects.

Supports credit and collections activities, including customer payment follow-up, collection software worklists, account documentation, creditworthiness analysis, dashboard monitoring, and management reporting. The intern will use Excel, Power BI, and reporting tools to analyze data, identify trends, support credit risk assessment, and contribute to process improvement, automation, and digital transformation projects.

Supports enterprise-wide Oracle EPM financial systems, including administration, configuration, security, data uploads, metadata, interfaces, reporting, dashboards, integrations, and user support. Use warranty data and field evaluations to identify and mitigate mechanical-system issues.

Supports boat programs, product enhancements, welding and fabrication teams, and manufacturing process improvements. Collaborates with engineering teams, vendors, and suppliers; handles documentation releases, quotations, ordering, engineering changes, and tooling problem-solving. Performs on-site measurements and works safely on the production floor while following safety, ergonomic, and documentation standards.

Supports product management for oils and lubricants through competitive market research, market assessments, SKU rationalization, sales reporting, product assortment analysis, pricing updates, and product content development. Supports testing and analysis of marine propulsion systems, including designing on-water tests, collecting load-cell data, analyzing results, writing reports, coordinating CFD and FEA simulations, updating performance models, and optimizing gearcase and propeller hydrodynamics. The intern manages assigned engineering projects and collaborates with test technicians and design analysis teams.

The Senior Accountant manages general accounting, forecasting, budgeting, costing, reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, invoicing, fixed assets, tax returns, and financial reporting for a manufacturing plant. The role partners with business leaders, oversees import/export activities, supports audits and shared services, maintains SOX documentation, and leads financial analysis and continuous improvement projects.

Electrical Engineering Intern supporting product validation, new product development, sustaining engineering, and production efforts. Responsibilities include testing electrical products, documenting results, building and troubleshooting PCBA prototypes, designing test fixtures, diagnosing field failures, and assisting with product issue resolution. The role requires collaboration with engineering teams, project prioritization, and a full-time May–August commitment in an onsite laboratory environment.

Supports new product development and sustaining engineering through product validation testing, prototype construction, test fixture fabrication, troubleshooting, technical issue resolution, documentation, and lab/shop upkeep. The intern will diagnose field failures, test new products, report test data, and collaborate on multiple engineering projects. This is a full-time internship from May through August.
