Oversee insurance schemes, facilities, portfolio placements, and strategic insurer relationships across the South East. The role negotiates capacity, pricing, coverage, service, and commercial terms; identifies opportunities to consolidate business; develops new placement solutions; monitors arrangement performance; coordinates insurer engagement; and serves as the senior escalation point for complex placement and capacity issues.

Provide high-level administrative support to consultants across employee benefits products. Manage policy memberships and insurer liaison, maintain CRM and records, ensure GDPR and FCA compliance, handle office operations and documentation, and travel occasionally for training or meetings.

Develop and retain commercial insurance clients by sourcing new business, preparing quotations, renewals and MTAs, placing cover across commercial lines, maintaining insurer relationships, meeting FCA requirements, and delivering sales and service targets.

Lead regional QA for retail broking, driving quality, governance, complaint and breach management. Provide leadership to local QA teams, align regional activity with national QA strategy, collaborate with compliance, analyze service data to improve customer outcomes, and report regional QA performance to senior leadership.

Manage and grow an existing commercial insurance portfolio from the Rotherham office. Develop new business pipeline, add introducers, advise on quotations and renewals, expand client coverage, ensure documentation and FCA compliance, hit income and retention targets, and collaborate with broking, claims, underwriters and management to meet business objectives.

Work with business users, developers and project teams to design and execute test plans, perform functional/regression/integration/UAT testing, manage defects, validate insurance product and policy administration functionality, ensure data integrity, support test automation initiatives, and produce test documentation and quality metrics.

Manage commercial insurance client relationships, achieve new business and renewal targets, generate and act on leads, prepare broking notes, negotiate with underwriters, expand accounts through cross-selling, and ensure high levels of customer service and accurate documentation.

Handle commercial motor fleet new business: quote and bind cover, convert inbound/outbound enquiries, liaise with insurers and clients, process mid-term adjustments, prepare market presentations, cross-sell products, manage calls and data entry, maintain training records, and suggest business improvements.

Manage month-end close, prepare and post GL journals, reconcile balance sheet accounts, produce P&L analysis, support regulatory returns (FCA RMAR, ONS, VAT), assist audits, maintain controls, and drive finance process improvements within an insurance environment.

Handle renewals and provide new quotations for business clients, manage client relationships to meet retention targets, negotiate terms, recommend additional products, liaise with insurers/underwriters, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver excellent customer service.

Support claims financial processing, reserves, reconciliations, reinsurance recoveries, and month-end close. Produce claims finance reports, maintain controls and audit-ready records, liaise with brokers/reinsurers/TPAs, and identify process improvements.

Provide first-line Acturis functional and system support via phone and email, resolve user issues, support configuration changes and migrations, liaise with suppliers, maintain governance and documentation, and improve system use and user guidance.

Own and operate the Acturis Small Change governance framework, run the Small Change Board, prioritise and control change demand, assess risk/impact, ensure regulatory and data integrity, define testing and release requirements, maintain transparency of backlog and benefits, and act as the primary operational interface with Acturis.

Sell and manage large commercial insurance accounts: meet renewal and new-business targets, service and visit clients, obtain market quotations, manage debt and diaries, complete required training and CPD, and collaborate with handling and claims teams.

Develop and retain a commercial insurance book by identifying client needs, proposing and placing competitive insurance solutions, managing renewals and MTAs, meeting targets, building insurer and client relationships, ensuring FCA compliance, and delivering high standards of sales and service.

Manage a portfolio of commercial clients by handling renewals, mid-term adjustments, documentation queries and quotations. Support account executives on larger cases, build client and insurer relationships to maximise retention, work compliantly and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Develop and manage a personal pipeline of new commercial insurance business, secure introducers, advise on quotations and coverage, manage renewals, liaise with broking and claims teams for accurate documentation, meet income and retention targets, and support colleague development while working compliantly.

Sell and service commercial insurance accounts by generating new business, meeting clients, assessing risks, arranging competitive cover with insurers, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring FCA-compliant processes.

Manage and service a corporate commercial insurance portfolio, lead renewals and retention, identify cross-sell opportunities, present risks to insurers and negotiate terms, ensure accurate records in Applied Relay, mentor account handlers, monitor business figures, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Develop and manage High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth private client insurance relationships, focusing on property and associated lines. Generate new business, handle quotations, renewals, mid-term adjustments, negotiate with underwriters, maintain Acturis records, perform due diligence, assist directors on complex cases, support credit control, and meet new business/retention targets.
