Provide front-desk and clerical support for the Community Justice Support Center including client-facing communication, recordkeeping, scheduling, data entry, report preparation, office supply management, and assistance with outreach and compliance while maintaining confidentiality.

Provide strength-based, community-based behavioral support to youth by building relationships, developing social-skills activities, collaborating with care teams, supporting risk management planning alongside clinicians, and driving to meet client needs.

Bay State Community Services offers bachelor-level internships in behavioral health across outpatient, residential, and home-based settings. Interns receive supervised clinical/generalist training, work with youth and families, complete required internship hours and supervision, and gain skills in systems serving vulnerable populations. Candidates should submit a resume and cover letter detailing education, supervision needs, hours, driving ability, and professional goals.

Provide clinical experience in a multi-service community agency with training and supervision. Interns work with youth and families across programs (in-home therapy, outpatient, recovery, prevention), complete required internship hours and supervision, use agency systems, maintain documentation, possibly travel locally, and may perform community engagement or evaluation tasks. Opportunities may be paid depending on program and student level.

Conduct client intake interviews, assess needs, assist clients with electronic benefits applications (SNAP, MassHealth, SSI/SSDI, veterans benefits), perform outreach to agencies and communities, and cross-train on actuarial risk/needs assessment and contingency management tools to support client essential needs.

Year-long paid fellowship providing intensive training and supervised, on-site experience serving youth (ages 12-20). Fellows receive weekly didactic seminars, certifications, rotations across youth programs, face-to-face clinical hours, and mentorship with opportunities for long-term employment and professional development.
