Supports Bank Negara Malaysia’s government relations function by monitoring Malaysia’s political and economic landscape, advising on stakeholder engagement, coordinating engagements with ministers and public agencies, preparing parliamentary responses and briefing materials, and facilitating policy communications. The role also manages internal department relationships and supports public engagement campaigns, requiring strong stakeholder management, policy analysis, communications, project management, and bilingual English-Bahasa Malaysia skills.

Leads enterprise information security policy implementation, risk reporting, governance, compliance monitoring, risk frameworks, tools, processes, thematic reviews, and advisory activities. The role supports information asset profiling across 40 departments, maintains accurate incident and risk data in GRC systems, promotes information security awareness, and provides risk assurance and mitigation recommendations to senior management, the Board, and risk committees.

Supports sourcing and contract management activities, including RFx development, supplier identification, bid evaluation, negotiations, contract renewals, and procurement documentation. Helps establish strategic procurement agreements, catalogs, and schedules of rates while ensuring policy compliance, cost savings, SLA adherence, audit readiness, and supplier relationship effectiveness. Also contributes to procurement knowledge sharing and capability development.

Leads application support teams and manages reliable maintenance of business-critical applications, ensuring uptime, incident and problem resolution, SLAs, KRIs, deployments, and service-provider performance. Partners with business users and management, provides technical guidance, oversees application updates, and drives continuous improvement across data warehousing, reporting, investigation, and public-facing systems.

Supports procurement committee operations by advising stakeholders, coordinating and reviewing tender documentation, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, tracking tender progress, and maintaining sufficient committee membership. The role requires strong English writing skills and knowledge of sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, and contracts.

Provides legal opinions, regulatory and compliance advice, legislative drafting, contract review, legal research, and risk management for a central bank. Advises on monetary and financial stability, financial markets, Islamic finance, exchange controls, governance, enforcement, and emerging issues. Collaborates with government agencies, regulators, legal firms, and internal stakeholders while participating in committees, projects, and taskforces.

Analyzes stakeholder needs, business requirements, processes, information needs, and IT solution options. Develops business cases, supports buy-versus-build decisions, advises on solution resilience and scalability, identifies implementation risks, and ensures alignment with business objectives, IT strategy, policies, and stakeholder expectations. Also manages solution delivery quality and provides internal technical consulting in a banking environment.
