Support clients seeking disability benefits or insurance compensation by conducting interviews, analyzing medical records, drafting persuasive SSA memos, coordinating with representatives, managing caseloads, and collaborating with attorneys on case strategy. The role also involves improving workflows and contributing to startup initiatives with Marketing and Product. It is fully remote with quarterly travel to Los Angeles and occasional offsites.

Leads a full-stack engineering growth pod, owning its roadmap, delivery quality, team culture, hiring and career development. The manager remains hands-on by writing and reviewing code, shaping architecture, coaching engineers, and participating in technical decisions. The team rapidly experiments with product experiences, using data-driven insights to help people discover and understand Atticus services. The role partners closely with product, design, and data science while operating in an ambiguous, resource-constrained startup environment.

As the first in-house Data Engineer, you will own the data infrastructure, build and maintain data pipelines, and collaborate with teams to ensure quality data access and insights.
