Investigate emerging agent attacks, turn research into production defenses, support customer security reviews, and contribute findings to AIUC-1 standards and its CISO consortium.

Own AIUC’s security function as the founding security lead. Develop and evolve AI agent security standards, address emerging threats, build security infrastructure and organizational controls, establish policies and incident response, advise enterprise clients, and represent AIUC externally. The role combines strategic, technical, operational, and client-facing responsibilities, requiring deep security expertise, strong communication skills, and knowledge of AI vendor security evaluation.

Lead product strategy and execution for AIUC-1, an AI agent certification product. Partner with founders to set priorities, test hypotheses, analyze product data, write specifications, coordinate engineering, delivery, and go-to-market teams, remove blockers, and drive the product to general availability and expansion into new agent types. Over time, assume broader product ownership and build the product function.

Own AIUC’s strategic finance, board reporting, financial planning, and financial controls while building the operational infrastructure needed for rapid growth. Responsibilities include centralizing vendor spend, insourcing core operations, supporting recruiting and people operations, identifying efficiency improvements, and creating durable systems and processes. The role requires a highly analytical generalist who can structure ambiguous problems, execute quickly, and improve organizational effectiveness.

Owns end-to-end recruiting for engineering and research roles, partnering with hiring managers and founders to define profiles, source passive candidates, manage technical screening, close offers, oversee agencies, and track funnel performance. The role focuses on building talent pipelines for AI evaluation, security, infrastructure, and forward-deployed engineering positions while helping strengthen AIUC’s employer brand.

Owns post-certification customer success for AIUC-1, helping customers use certification to accelerate enterprise sales, generate ROI stories, secure marketing placements, and drive renewals and upsells. Builds executive relationships, manages announcements and customer activations, supports sales calls and security reviews, develops enablement materials, and creates repeatable success processes. The role also channels customer feedback to Product and requires commercial ownership, cross-functional execution, and team leadership.

Conduct frontier AI research on model capabilities, safety, evaluations, security, and governance. Independently design and maintain research code and experiment pipelines, implement and adapt ML papers, develop experiments from ambiguous questions, publish findings, and help shape AIUC’s public research agenda and strategic direction.

Own customer integrations for AI agent evaluations from scoping through delivery. Read API documentation, manage credentials, build custom integrations, run evaluations, assess AIUC-1 compliance, communicate technical results, and surface failure modes. Collaborate with customers, sales, delivery, standards, and core engineering teams while turning recurring field solutions into reusable product capabilities.

Own end-to-end AIUC-1 certification engagements from kickoff through certificate issuance. Lead cross-functional customer projects involving security, legal, engineering, executives, and external auditors. Manage evidence collection, technical evaluations, audit coordination, timelines, and customer experience. Translate recurring engagement patterns into scalable workflows, tooling, playbooks, and product improvements while partnering with Product and GTM teams.

Lead enterprise discovery and partnerships to drive adoption of AIUC-1 certification. Work with founders to design GTM experiments, engage CISOs/GCs/Chief AI Officers, and own strategic accounts from first conversation to signed partnership. Explore vertical-specific solutions (e.g., Financial Services) and tailor messaging, product, and pilot programs to enterprise security and regulatory needs.

Lead full-cycle recruiting for non-technical roles at an early-stage AI security startup. Partner with founders to define role requirements and hiring strategy, source and manage candidate pipelines, design assessment processes and hiring playbooks, advise hiring teams with market insights and benchmarks, and own candidate experience through offer and close.

Open wildcard application to help underwrite, red-team, certify, and insure AI agents. Work across research, engineering, and policy to build agent security standards (AIUC-1). Cross-functional collaboration; equity, benefits, visa sponsorship and relocation to San Francisco offered.

Support two cofounders with complex calendar and travel management, inbox triage, event and dinner planning, expense coordination, errands, and ad-hoc operations.
