Established in 2013, the Arabesque Group brings together AI, ESG data and financial technology to deliver sustainable investment and intelligence.

Our investment strategy was developed at Barclays Bank between 2010 and 2013 in cooperation with professors from the universities of Stanford, Cambridge, Oxford and the Fraunhofer Society. Following a management buyout, Arabesque launched its first funds in 2014.

The mission of the Arabesque Group is to contribute to the mainstreaming of sustainable finance through our asset management services, as well as our platforms, ESG Book and AutoCIO.

Launched by a global alliance of leading financial institutions, investors, and businesses, ESG Book’s mission is to transform finance through sustainability. ESG Book combines cutting edge technology and proprietary research to fix a fundamental problem; capital markets need better ESG data to allocate finance efficiently to more sustainable outcomes.

Powered by our AI Engine, AutoCIO is a platform that allows financial institutions to build active, alpha-generating investment strategies that are hyper customised for clients’ sustainability objectives. A low-cost, scalable ESG solution at the click of a button.

We benefit from a board comprised of global leaders with extensive experience in the areas of corporate responsibility, responsible investment, environmental activism, human rights and gender inclusion. They include Georg Kell, founding Executive Director of the UN Global Compact; Barbara Krumsiek, former President and CEO of Calvert Investments; Dr Carolyn Woo, former President of Catholic Relief Services; and Yolanda Kakabadse, former President of WWF International.

At Arabesque, we are guided by the belief that sustainability factors are closely linked to business performance, and are driven to make sustainable finance available to all.
