Agentio
What's It Like to Work at Agentio?
Frequently Asked Questions
Agentio operates on a simple belief: when people have real ownership over meaningful work, satisfaction follows naturally. Every employee — regardless of function or tenure — owns a genuine work stream with visible impact on the business. We share priorities, performance, wins, and hard lessons across the whole company through bi-weekly all-hands and weekly standups, so nobody is left guessing what matters or why. Recognition is built into our weekly rhythm through a team-wide gratitude practice and our #agentiolove Slack channel, where wins get celebrated in real time. We also offer a monthly lifestyle credit so employees can experience our brand partners' products firsthand, and we host regular fireside chats with top creators, investors, and brand leaders — giving our team rare access to the people shaping the industry we're building.
Consistently, yes. When we asked our team what they would miss most if they left, the answers converged on two things: the people and the fear of missing what's coming. Employees describe a culture of high ownership, low ego, and genuine excitement about the work — not as a talking point, but as something they feel every day. During our most recent fundraise, an independent NPS survey of our customers returned scores of 9s and 10s across the board. The investors noted they rarely see that with B2B companies. That same care for customers is reflected internally — people here genuinely want each other to win.
Agentio is known as a place where ambitious, curious, low-ego people do the best work of their careers. We have a reputation for unusually high talent density, a collaborative culture without politics, and genuine proximity to leadership. Employees consistently describe a level of access and ownership that they had not experienced at larger companies — including Meta, Spotify, AWS, TikTok, and Amazon — and a pace of learning that compounds quickly because of our AI-native approach to how we work.
We work in person five days a week in New York City and we move fast. Processes are still being built as we scale, which means priorities can shift and ambiguity is part of the job. The people who thrive here are the ones who find that energizing rather than frustrating. If you're looking for a highly structured environment with established playbooks, this probably isn't the right fit. If you want to own something real and build something that matters, it's hard to find a better seat.
Agentio was named to Forbes' Next Billion Dollar Startups list and has raised $56M from Forerunner, Benchmark, Craft, and AlleyCorp — investors who are known for backing category-defining companies. The external recognition reflects what employees experience internally: a company with real momentum, a product that works, and a team that believes in what they're building. The people who join Agentio tend to stay because they see the trajectory and don't want to miss it.
Agentio Employee Perspectives
Forbes list of 25 venture-backed startups they think most likely to reach a $1 billion valuation. Of the 250 alumni, 140, or 56%, became unicorns, including DoorDash, Figma and Anduril. Forty-two were acquired; only two went public for less than $1 billion.
Agentio has raised a $40M Series B led by Forerunner, with continued backing from Benchmark and other leading investors. This brings our total capital raised to $56M and values the company at $340M - just 2 years after launching and following 5x YoY growth
In one memorable line, how would you describe day-to-day satisfaction on your team?
“Agentio is inevitable,” which was said by one of our superstar engineers when asked by our co-founder/CTO why he accepted the role.
While he shared this on day one, I guarantee you he would share it again today. There’s a lot of satisfaction to believe in the contribution of what you’re building, and we have that in spades.
Would you recommend working here — and what proof backs that up?
I very intentionally wouldn’t recommend Agentio to everyone. The value of an earlier stage company is deeply co-dependent on the people inside it. We spend more time at work than anywhere else, so it deserves real scrutiny.
The people who thrive here operate by four values: “Obsess Over Impact,” “Run Through Walls,” “No Ego,” “All In” and “Always Be Lore Maxxing.” They show up daily. We’re in the office five days a week. This is because the pace of IP that exchanges hands in real time can’t be replicated. Agentio moves really fast. It can feel like a full week passed by 5 p.m. on Monday. It requires every one to be a sponge, adapt like Play-Doh, and treat your title like a starting point, not a perimeter. There is no better seat if you believe in our vision and can run with it creatively and relentlessly, with no ego. It’s not for everyone! Our high standards are what got us here, which is just the beginning.
The proof is in who’s backed us, who’s buying from us, and how fast we’re growing. The road is not all paved, and it’s certainly not linear. It takes real grit. But I’ve never had a more fulfilling job — and we have an extraordinary amount of fun doing it.
How are you perceived externally right now, and what signals support that?
I believe the most important signal is who decides to work with us. So far, the best people, investors, brands and creators have made that decision.
Benchmark, the definitive voice on marketplace businesses, took a chance on our idea early. Forerunner came not because of a pitch, but because their own portfolio companies were already advocating for us. Their team invests in brands that shape culture, and the fact that their most trusted portfolio companies were sending them our way is something we do not take lightly.
Our brand partners humble us just as much. These are sophisticated, performance-obsessed brands with real standards. We build for them and grow together. The majority of our growth has been earned, not chased: customers telling customers, and investors opening doors. That kind of trust can’t be manufactured. You have to earn it, and we wake up every day trying to deserve it.
Our product ships at a pace that also reflects how seriously we hold that responsibility. It’s a team sport! We’re early; there’s so much more to build and prove. But when your investors, customers and market are all pointing in the same direction, you feel it. We’re genuinely grateful and so, so motivated.
