Drives problem solving using 8D and Kepner-Tregoe, trains personnel, supports supplier and customer issue resolution, and ensures compliance with AIAG, VDA, and automotive quality standards. Business travel to customer and supplier locations is required.

Provide technical leadership and support for plant industrial engineers on material flow, workstation layouts, time standards, and lean documentation. Mentor teams, implement best practices, support new model launches, maintain central databases, assist Design for Assembly, and travel extensively (50%) to JIT plants.

Develops manufacturing process documentation, supports control plans, trains assembly leaders, and coordinates Lean and Kaizen improvements. Optimizes line layouts, workforce utilization, workflow, equipment, and line balancing while reducing scrap, rework, downtime, and consumable use. Supports SOPs, engineering changes, prototypes, BOM activities, audits, and safety initiatives. Requires a relevant bachelor’s degree, 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, quality-system knowledge, CAD proficiency, and strong English and Microsoft Office skills.

Manage plant materials functions: inventory, MRP, forecasting, cycle counting, and delivery. Ensure compliance with BOS, ISO/IATF-16949, CPTAT and regulations. Develop materials procedures, reduce inventory waste, coordinate with operations on production plans, and support HSE programs.

Manage and supervise plant production operations, ensuring on-time schedules, material flow, product accounting, safety compliance, staffing, training and coaching. Coordinate with plant services to resolve production issues, implement cost-control and scrap-reduction programs, and support plant-wide objectives and profit plans.
