JOB DESCRIPTION

Sr Ops Controller -

This position reports to the Mexico JIT and Trim Finance Director and is responsible for the Trim plants.

§ Serve as a trusted advisor and hands-on business partner to the Trim Operations Director.

§ Partner with the operations leadership to develop and implement the operating and strategic business plan (roadmaps), delivering on annual plans and long-term goals.

§ Develop and mentor a top-notch operations finance team. Continue to drive the approach of plant controller as plant CFO; bring transparency to all stakeholders in business and driving for value.

§ Prepare and explain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results for business unit, projections, variance, and trend analysis. Work with the operational leaders to anticipate variances to ensure improvement trends.

§ Drive accuracy in outlooking process with full command of risks, opportunities, and relevant industry information.

§ Collaborate and coordinate volume and other commercial recoveries with the BU and the Plant operations team.

§ Oversight of operations compliance with company accounting policies, general internal controls, and SOX reporting requirements.

§ Partner with Operations leadership on various initiatives and ensure finance team maintains strong partnership with operational counterparts.

§ Collaborate with strategic leadership team to complete and confirm financial impacts of strategic projects and proposals for future improvements.
