The rate of technological change is moving faster than ever. Some of 2025’s innovations seemed completely out of reach just a few years ago.

AI video is now so advanced that it’s difficult for many to distinguish it from real footage, while quantum computing reached new heights with advanced chips. Vibe coding keeps getting better, too, especially when combined with agentic AI. And, while not perfected just yet, humanoid robots are bringing us closer to a “Jetsons” reality than ever before.

In the spirit of discovery, Built In found some of this year’s top tech companies with noteworthy or innovative tech — and highlighted the perks that make working on these teams great.
