According to the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, tech and IT solutions promote new business opportunities and keep the economy competitive. The large pool of IT talent in Poland has made the country a lucrative location for many international companies. Here are some of the top ones to know.

Grammarly’s AI-powered writing platform helps users improve their writing by catching and correcting mistakes in grammar, spelling, tone and style. Its tool integrates into emails, messaging platforms, social media and more. Founded in 2009 and headquartered in San Francisco, California, Grammarly’s presence in Poland is based in Krakow.

 

Software company Dropbox makes cloud-based file hosting and AI-powered tools. Its signature product is a file sharing platform widely used by remote teams and students alike. The company adopted a remote-first working style in 2020 and has been hiring remote workers in Poland since 2022.

 

Mondelēz International is a multinational food and beverage company that serves as the parent company to a long list of popular snack food brands, including Oreo, Cadbury Dairy Milk, Sour Patch Kids and Trident gum. When the company separated from Kraft, it was tasked with exclusively manufacturing snack foods like candy, cookies, chocolate and drinks. In Poland, the company maintains offices in Warsaw.

The company is building a team of network engineers in Poland, who will work remotely on developing solutions for smart spaces, remote workforces and security-enhanced environments.

 

Box offers secure, cloud-based solutions for enabling collaboration and streamlining content workflows. For example, the company’s Box Canvas product serves as a virtual whiteboarding tool teams can use to work together in real time on brainstorming ideas or plotting out the steps in a new process. Box expanded its presence in Europe with the 2020 opening of its Warsaw office, where many engineering team members now work.

Web3 services company Chainlink Labs aims to use its blockchain-based solutions to enhance the reliability of digital transactions across a wide range of industries. With a headquarters in San Francisco, Chainlink embraces a remote-first approach, empowering its globally dispersed workforce with a work-from-anywhere policy. The company hires in Poland.
