Arista Networks is a cloud networking company best known for its switches, routers and EOS cloud operating network. Headquartered in Santa Clara, California, Arista has more than 9,000 customers, including cloud titans like Microsoft and Meta. The company has a workforce of 3,600 employees and operates an R&D office just outside Vancouver in Burnaby.

Founded in 1993, Absolute Software’s cybersecurity solution allows companies to monitor, protect and control the devices used by their hybrid and remote workers. Embedded in the firmware of more than 600 million devices, Absolute’s software can’t be deleted, even if the hard drive is swapped. The Vancouver-based company, which employs roughly 700 workers, was acquired in 2023 by investment firm Crosspoint Capital Partners.

Netgear became a household name for its consumer modems, routers and home WiFi solutions, but it also offers a full portfolio of routers, switches and networking solutions for businesses. Employing nearly 700 workers, the company is headquartered in San Jose, but its Canadian operations are based out of its R&D office in Richmond, B.C.

Trulioo’s software allows businesses to verify the identity of the companies it does business with, which reduces their exposure to risk and helps them to comply with anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) regulations. Roughly 300 employees work out of the company’s 35,000-square-foot Vancouver headquarters office.
