Poland is known for housing many IT experts who have helped the country’s market boom. It’s also home to several international giants, and a report from The Polish Agency for Enterprise Development suggests that the market for IT services and hardware will continue to grow over the next several years. We’ve gathered a list of the companies you need to know.

Motorola Solutions develops IT services and software for a wide range of purposes. The company provides law enforcement and other organizations with public safety and cybersecurity solutions, including command center operations and video security.  The company has had a presence in Poland for more than thirty years. 

 

With nine offices and 65,000 employees worldwide, Fujitsu is a leading Japanese global information and communication technology company that provides a wide range of technology products, solutions and services, including app development, business consulting, cloud services and infrastructure services across various industries.

 

Located in over 50 countries, Google is the tech company that’s also a verb. In 2022, the company announced it would invest $700 million to develop its Warsaw presence and help grow the country’s tech sector. Google’s Warsaw office is the company’s regional hub for engineering and one of its fastest-growing sites across the EMEA, or Europ Middle East and Africa, region. Employees there work on Google’s cloud platform and infrastructure in addition to other key functions. 

 

Mondelēz International produces household-name snacks for consumers around the world. Its popular food brands include Oreo, Milka, Toblerone and more. Mondelēz International is committed to reaching net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 and invested in equipment to operate its local facilities with renewable energy. The company hires for a wide range of roles across the country.

 

Oxla, headquartered in Warsaw, aims to maximize data processing efficiency through its analytical database, which uses a parallelized query engine to optimize data transfer between CPU and RAM. The company says this can result in up to 90 percent savings in computing costs.

 

Claiming to be one of the world’s fastest-growing mobile game companies, Moon Active develops, publishes and operates popular mobile games such as Coin Master, My Café, Family Island and more, available on iOS, Android and Facebook.

Akvelon, Inc. is an AI-powered software engineering and consulting company specializing in software and app development, data analysis and digital transformation. Since its founding in 2000, the company has expanded to nine global offices and nearly 1,000 employees.

The company has offices throughout the United States and Europe, including a location in Kraków.

 

Toast is an all-in-one restaurant management platform used to take orders, schedule workers and manage back-end operations. The platform can also process payments and is used by all types of establishments from fine-dining restaurants to pizzerias and bakeries. It has a co-working location in Lublin.
