Delhi, home to the national parliament and presidential palace, also hosts some of the largest multinational and domestic technology companies. As one of the most-connected cities in the country, many local companies provide IT services in the region and elsewhere. Below, we gathered some of the top companies located in Delhi to know.

Pfizer’s global headquarters is in New York, but the pharmaceutical giant has offices around the world, including several in India. Pfizer develops and produces vaccines and medicines like Advil, Zoloft and the first FDA-authorized vaccine for Covid-19. The company was founded in 1928 and employs more than 120,000 people.

 

Cybersecurity company Tufin helps companies secure their networks through next gen firewalls and network devices. The company is headquartered in the United States with presence in Israel and India, as well. Tufin was founded in 2005 and employs 450 people. 

 

Oracle provides cloud services and software development to organizations in various sectors. On the software side of its business, its various products collect and analyze data. Additionally, the company owns Java, a popular coding language and MySQL, a database tool used to cull large data sets. Oracle employs over 150,000 people and has offices in Delhi and other major cities around the world. 

 

Qualtrics provides cloud-based software that helps companies manage their employee insights, customer experience and market research. Over 19,000 organizations around the world use Qualtrics’ products. The company’s Delhi campus is one of 13 locations in North America, Asia, Europe and the U.K.

 

Acquia makes software built around the open-source content management system Drupal. Its products help businesses streamline their data and content management with software like Campaign Studio, Site Studio and Cloud IDE. HCLTech was founded on the outskirts of Delhi and employs recent graduates and experienced professionals alike. 

 

Healthtech company Medtronic develops and produces medical devices to treat a variety of conditions including Parkinson’s disease, obesity and spinal disorders. The company maintains 50 campuses around the world and employs nearly 5,000 people. In India, Dynatrace’s Delhi office joins locations in Bangalore and Mumbai.

 

More than 73 million people have used Udemy’s edtech platform to learn new professional skills or engage in self-improvement courses. The software company offers classes from web development to finance, business analytics to graphic design. Udemy employs 1,500 people across the globe, including three Indian locations in Mumbai, Chennai and Delhi.

 

Genpact is a consulting firm that also provides tech development services. The company specializes in supplying AI and data solutions and employs over 100,000 people to carry out its work. Genpact believes in providing continuous learning opportunities for its staff and helps them specialize in over 600 granular skills. 

 

Boeing manufactures commercial jetliners as well as defense, space and security systems, and offers aftermarket support for its products. The company has six locations across India, where it has worked in the aerospace sector for 80 years. Boeing employs more than 6,000 people in India and partners with more than 300 Indian suppliers.

 

Headquartered on the region’s outskirts, Paytm is a highly successful fintech company. The company provides savings accounts, payment platforms and investment software for individuals and businesses.
