Microsoft is one of the largest technology companies in the world, and it runs a development campus in Hyderabad. The company is most known for its productivity and email software, but its other products include personal computers, gaming consoles and most recently, a generative AI platform for text and images.

 

TransUnion aims to support global commerce through a range of solutions for consumers and businesses. Its offerings include a continuous credit monitoring service and analytics tools that enable businesses to make data-driven decisions. The company has a significant presence in the Asia-Pacific region, with multiple offices in India, including a Hyderabad location.

 

Freshworks develops AI-enabled workplace software. Its products include chatbots, automated marketing software, CRM platforms and AI customer ticking solutions. Freshworks was founded in Chennai in 2010 but relocated to California shortly before its initial public offering, or IPO.

 

Boasting over 100 global offices, Salesforce is a trusted name in software products. Its popular customer relationship management, or CRM, platform is used by various companies worldwide occupying market share in tech, marketing, e-commerce and other sectors. Salesforce is headquartered in Silicon Valley but says its Hyderabad office is a crucial contributor to its CRM platform.

The company serves businesses in the banking, healthcare, utilities, media, capital markets and insurance industries. TCS’ Learning and Development Center in Hyderabad trains more than 6,000 professionals each year.

 

Qualcomm develops semiconductors and is responsible for creating the popular Snapdragon mobile processor. The Snapdragon processor is a system-on-a-chip, or SoC, component found in high-end laptops, mobile phones and virtual reality goggles. Qualcomm also develops semiconductors for smart home appliances, automobiles, cameras and Bluetooth devices. The company has three locations in Hyderabad.
