Build and lead StartEngine’s robo-advisory investment function. Design the investment philosophy, IPS, risk-based model portfolios, fund and ETF lineup, rebalancing and tax-loss-harvesting logic, and product requirements for engineering implementation. Serve as the named investment leader in regulatory filings and client materials, collaborate with legal and compliance teams, establish compliant advisory talking points, and own the investment function while reporting to executive leadership.

Prepare and review complex retirement plan compliance tests, year-end packages, government filings, and regulatory forms including Forms 5500, 5330, and 8955-SSA. Reconcile plan assets, calculate contributions and corrective earnings, prepare plan documents, research compliance issues, support audits, and mentor team members. Evaluate and manage the most complex, high-impact life insurance underwriting cases. Provides senior credit administration support by reviewing complex loans, enforcing underwriting and risk-rating standards, identifying problem credits, improving documentation and eligibility processes, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with Credit, Training, Compliance, Quality Control, IT, Sales, and Operations teams to strengthen lending quality, workflow, and portfolio performance.

Reviews commercial credit files and portfolios to independently validate risk ratings, assess underwriting and portfolio management quality, identify problem exposures, analyze credit trends, and evaluate adherence to lending policies, regulations, and risk methodologies. The associate writes review reports, communicates findings and recommendations, collaborates with credit and business teams, participates in special projects, and maintains current knowledge of credit review practices and regulatory expectations.

Processes payments for approved plaintiffs seeking legal funding. Reviews cases, contracts, and funding procedures; identifies issues and returns cases for rework. Conducts identity, bankruptcy, and Military Lending Act checks, then schedules payments through Western Union, ACH, checks, wires, or Kyck Global. Requires strong attention to detail, communication, process adherence, follow-up, and computer skills.

Research and deploy systematic DeFi trading strategies using on-chain signals, protocol mechanics, tokenomics, liquidity flows, MEV, funding rates, and cross-protocol arbitrage. Responsibilities include backtesting with gas and slippage constraints, collaborating on live deployment, monitoring performance, and contributing to on-chain data infrastructure.
