Responsible for purchasing indirect goods and services for Magna Exteriors. Key responsibilities include strategic negotiation, decision-making, assertive communication, and adaptability to support procurement and supplier relationships within the organization.

Manages purchasing processes for assigned automotive programs and platforms from quotation through invoicing. Tracks procurement KPIs, project progress, costs, timing, and quality requirements. Develops competitive material and tooling costs, coordinates with internal teams and strategic suppliers, represents purchasing, negotiates with suppliers, supports sourcing and risk assessments, and leads cost-optimization initiatives.

Perform internal transport and supply production areas; record goods movements in SAP R/3; manage inbound/outbound and storage processes; load and unload trucks; perform goods receipt, shipping, ID checks and documentation; handle materials and packaging; maintain floor vehicles and workspace. Work in a three-shift system.

Manage end-to-end procurement for technical vehicle components: RFQs, negotiations, orders, contracts, supplier development, market analysis, cost reduction, and KPI tracking. Coordinate cross-functional teams, run supplier workshops, and support sourcing strategies while ensuring quality and cost targets. Role includes mentoring during onboarding and working in German and English.

Part-time working student supporting Program Purchasing: analyze procurement markets, prepare market intelligence, assist commodity strategy development, supplier management, improve inquiry processes, support supplier negotiations and contract preparation, and help meet budget targets.

Plan supplier release schedules, coordinate pickup and delivery of components to meet customer demand, and maintain inventory records and levels for exterior vehicle components.

Supervise logistics activities: coordinate raw material sourcing to meet production schedules and manage finished-goods warehouse to ensure inventory availability and product condition for customer requirements.

Manage daily inventory movements, maintain inventory accuracy using QAD ERP, lead materials planning and logistics, drive continuous improvement in MPL processes, mentor team members, collaborate cross-functionally, monitor KPIs, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and leverage MES and digital integration for operational excellence.

Manage plant inventory (FG, WIP, RM), support and improve material handling systems, oversee equipment maintenance and AMR mission execution, coordinate with Purchasing/Manufacturing/Engineering/Quality, monitor KPIs, and supervise Area Leaders to meet customer and division goals.

Manage material handling to ensure raw material and empty equipment availability for production, facilitate transfer of finished goods to warehouse, and coordinate storage and inventory control to ensure product condition before shipment.
