Coordinates inbound and outbound material logistics, transport planning, freight cost control, invoice verification, claims, and daily delivery tracking. Assists the Purchasing Manager by leading purchasing, supplier development, sourcing, bidding, negotiations, cost analysis, contract reviews, supplier selection, audits, and cost-saving initiatives. The role manages purchasing activities for automotive raw materials, tooling, equipment, capital projects, services, and MRO commodities; evaluates supplier quality, delivery, cost, and risk; supports new business launches; leads purchasing procedures; and coordinates cross-functional communication and supplier improvement plans.

Plan and develop end-to-end logistics processes including packaging and intralogistics. Lead logistics projects from offer phase through serial production and ramp-down. Support industrialization, ramp-up, series optimization, material-flow and automation projects (including AMR). Specify packaging solutions and manage external packaging suppliers while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to improve factory logistics and production planning.

Leads North American and global packaging category strategy, sourcing, supplier management, negotiations, cost reduction, transportation optimization, and sustainability initiatives. Oversees packaging commodities including returnables, expendables, pallets, dunnage, corrugate, racks, and containers. Partners with engineering, manufacturing, logistics, finance, and sustainability teams to improve packaging quality, material flow, transportation efficiency, and total cost. Tracks supplier performance, savings, investments, and financial results while presenting sourcing recommendations to leadership.
