Assists the Distribution Center Manager with daily order processing, warehouse operations, employee hiring, training, supervision, inventory control, safety, facilities, equipment maintenance, and customer-specific order fulfillment. Leads the team when the manager is absent, supports production areas during high volume, opens and closes the facility, and responds to emergencies as needed. This hands-on warehouse role requires frequent lifting and prolonged standing.

Performs warehouse and distribution center duties including operating forklifts, order pickers, and wire-processing equipment; receiving, inspecting, counting, and entering inbound inventory; pulling, stocking, packing, and shipping orders; loading and unloading trailers; completing equipment checklists; and maintaining a clean, organized, safety-compliant work area.

Supports daily procurement and inventory activities, including purchase order maintenance, supplier coordination, stock transfers, reconciliations, inventory reporting, and master data accuracy. Analyzes procurement KPIs and dashboards using ERP systems, Excel, and Power BI. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies, improve workflows, document procedures, support system enhancements, and drive continuous improvement. Provides guidance to new administrators and assists with operational projects.

Supports distribution center operations through order allocation and processing, inventory management, purchasing, vendor coordination, facilities scheduling, shipping and receiving oversight, freight scheduling, invoice reconciliation, and order exception resolution. The role also supervises operational activities, maintains records and procedures, coordinates carrier inspections, handles UPS/FedEx shipments and will-call service, and operates material-handling equipment to load and unload trucks.

Manage procurement and inventory activities across national product lines and distribution centers. Responsibilities include vendor relationship management, quoting, purchase order placement, expediting, price negotiation, inventory system maintenance, S&OP reporting, inventory KPI tracking, sales trend analysis, and implementing inventory control procedures. Provides guidance to new administrators and supports procurement projects.
