Research tax issues related to business expansion and product launches, manage service providers, improve processes, and collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams to meet compliance deadlines.

Prepare SEC filings, financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, disclosures, workpapers, and XBRL tagging. Support SOX compliance, external audits, share-based compensation entries, reconciliations, technical accounting research, and disclosure benchmarking. Collaborate with Legal, Investor Relations, Finance, Accounting, and auditors while improving financial reporting processes and using AI to enhance reporting workflows.

Support product development and pricing by building rating models, expanding product analytics, producing actuarial deliverables (rate indications, reinsurance analysis, loss modeling), operationalizing insights, designing analytical frameworks, and integrating automated processes and monitoring tools to scale actuarial capabilities.

Lead finance and accounting functions including strategic finance, FP&A, accounting/controllership, audit, tax, treasury, fundraising support, and investor relations. Partner with founders, board, and cross-functional leaders on planning, forecasting, pricing, M&A readiness, and scaling the finance team while maintaining strong controls and GAAP compliance.

Lead and manage Circle's KYC team overseeing B2B onboarding, enhanced due diligence, and periodic reviews. Ensure SLA adherence, audit readiness, and high-quality risk memos. Drive team development, implement AI-driven workflow improvements, and partner cross-functionally with Product and Engineering while monitoring regulatory changes in the digital asset ecosystem.
