Manages a finance professional and partners with business and finance leaders across international markets to connect operational outcomes with financial impact. Serves as a strategic advisor, drives transformation, supports KPI performance, and translates growth and efficiency opportunities into actionable plans.

Supports FP&A activities including annual operating plans, forecasts, financial modeling, business reviews, executive reporting dashboards, and strategic investment analysis. Develops finance tools and processes, trains stakeholders, identifies business insights, and provides analytical support across operations.

Provides client-facing trading support and education on trade execution, order types, options, tax implications, cost basis, rebalancing, and brokerage processes. Partners with financial planners, monitors trades across custodians, resolves complex inquiries, supports managed account and direct-indexing workflows, and improves trading operations. Requires strong knowledge of equity and ETF trading, portfolio software, analytical tools, and clear member communication.

Manage the full accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, payment processing, reconciliations, dispute resolution, aging analysis, compliance reporting, and cash flow optimization. The role also improves AR processes through automation and best practices while collaborating with finance, sales, customers, and auditors. This hybrid position requires Atlanta-area residency and onsite work several times per week.

Processes high-volume vendor invoices, routes approvals, prepares weekly payments, manages vendor inquiries and corporate credit card activity, and supports financial close, annual tax forms, audits, reporting, and accounts payable process improvements.

Manage global financial consolidation, monthly close, financial statement preparation, audit schedules, SEC reporting, and U.S. GAAP compliance. Maintain and enhance Hyperion Financial Management, improve accounting policies and internal controls, review subsidiary data, advise regional teams on complex transactions, and coordinate with auditors, advisors, and internal finance functions. The role also leads and develops junior staff while supporting North American and EMEA operations.

Owns Tern’s accounting function, including revenue recognition, P&L restructuring, unit economics, month-end close, burn management, tax exposure, commission payouts, and payment-product accounting requirements. This first accounting hire will establish the chart of accounts, controls, processes, and accounting policies for a growing fintech and SaaS business, partnering with finance and engineering while serving as the company’s accounting subject-matter expert.

Analyze merchant credit and fraud risk across payment portfolios, review losses and activity, manage risk parameters, identify trends, and recommend mitigation strategies. The role partners with underwriting, compliance, sales, and clients; conducts root-cause analysis; supports regulatory and payment-network compliance; coaches teams; and improves risk processes and operations.

Manages federal, state, and local payroll tax compliance for a high-volume, multi-state PEO environment. Prepares and reviews tax documents, performs reconciliations, determines liabilities, processes tax returns, researches tax laws, resolves escalated discrepancies, and implements procedure changes based on regulatory updates. Requires advanced payroll tax knowledge, strong analytical skills, Excel proficiency, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close across multiple entities; reconcile high-volume payment flows (merchant fees, chargebacks, PayPal, payouts); maintain general ledger and intercompany eliminations; prepare journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations; produce US GAAP financial statements; build controls and scalable accounting processes; partner with FP&A; support auditors; evaluate accounting systems and grow the accounting team.
