The Global Tax Director will develop and manage Dandy's global tax strategy, focus on compliance, oversee indirect tax matters, and lead a team during rapid international expansion.

Lead and oversee daily accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, payroll, fixed assets, and reconciliations. Manage monthly/quarterly/annual close, prepare and analyze financial statements, ensure GAAP compliance, coordinate audits, maintain internal controls, and lead budgeting/forecasting. Supervise and develop accounting staff, manage ERP/accounting systems, support tax filings, and provide financial insights to senior leadership to improve profitability and efficiency.

Manages finance and accounting teams responsible for financial transactions, general ledger updates, consolidated financial statements, regulatory reporting, controls, and specialized accounting. Oversees data integrity, risk management, compliance, budgeting, planning, hiring, performance evaluation, and stakeholder advising. Requires strong knowledge of Local and US GAAP, banking products, reporting requirements, legal entity governance, and financial systems, along with CPA or Chartered Accountant credentials.

Oversee complex insurance compliance for commercial loan portfolios, reviewing coverage, assessing risk, remediating deficiencies, and ensuring investor and servicing requirements are met. Perform quality assurance, manage vendors, coordinate workloads, support audits, and prepare waiver or exception requests. The role supervises and develops employees, manages performance and hiring, coordinates projects across the organization, and presents financial information. It requires strong analytical, communication, organizational, and project management skills, with preferred experience in CPA certification and insurance statutory accounting and reporting.

Manage US GAAP month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities; prepare internal and external financial reporting; oversee joint venture accounting and GAAP-to-IFRS adjustments; coordinate external audits; research technical accounting issues; and collaborate with FP&A, Legal, and Operations.

Leads insurance compliance and regulatory operations, including complex complaint escalations, Department of Insurance responses, carrier audits, complaint-log controls, regulatory reporting, and audit-ready documentation. Partners with Legal, Product, Engineering, and Operations to resolve systemic issues, implement compliance improvements, support claims investigations, and coach team members. Requires P&C licensing, substantial insurance and state regulatory compliance experience, knowledge of NAIC regulations and state insurance codes, and strong executive communication skills.

Executes technology-focused internal audit and risk advisory engagements, including SOX compliance testing, IT general and automated control testing, system implementation reviews, risk assessments, operational audits, and SOC report reviews. The role evaluates control design and effectiveness, documents audit findings, supports remediation, and advises stakeholders on technology risk across enterprise applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments.

Supports enterprise investment planning by collecting and validating business-unit data, maintaining complex Excel-based financial models, evaluating product and R&D investment cases, developing scenario analyses, and preparing executive-ready reporting. Partners with Finance, Product, Strategy, and business leaders to assess tradeoffs, improve data integrity, coordinate planning deadlines, and recommend investment priorities and resource allocations.
