Prepare and support the universitys annual financial statements and related reports, ensure data integrity and reporting structures, assist with audits and chart-of-accounts changes, support business managers with reporting/training, and develop management reporting for leadership-informed decisions.

Oversee timekeeping and payroll processing, ensure compliance with wage laws and collective bargaining agreements, reconcile payroll discrepancies, maintain confidential employee records, support payroll systems and reporting, and train or supervise staff as needed.

Provide customer-facing support for commercial lending: prepare new loans and maintain existing loan files, gather CIP and borrower documentation, enter data into Verafin and Silverlake, coordinate loan closings and document ordering, manage UCCs and lien perfection, process payments and disbursements, scan and organize loan packages, handle customer service requests, and assist with SBA and government-guaranteed loan documentation.

Lead all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, audits, regulatory cost reporting, and finance systems. Oversee finance team, ensure compliance with NY state regulators, advise Executive Team and Board, and drive strategic financial planning for growth.

Manage daily accounting operations including ledger entries, payments, bank monitoring, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with legal requirements, develop financial policies and procedures, verify and post transactions, and support team objectives. Perform other related accounting tasks as needed.

Lead North American Flexport Capital portfolio, grow and optimize customer financing, manage account team, drive upsell and retention, monitor credit health, partner with Credit/Product/Legal, and build playbooks and dashboards to scale performance.

Oversee all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, reporting, cash flow, and compliance. Lead month/year-end close, audits, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, Medicaid billing systems, and provide financial guidance to executive and operational leaders while supervising onsite finance staff.

Manage end-to-end accounts payable including PO review and conversion, ACH and vendor payment processing in Intacct, invoice posting, credit card and Brex expense reconciliation, W-9 verification, AP journal entries, and support 1099 preparation while maintaining strong controls and timely payments.

Perform accurate and timely general ledger data entry and reconciliations for property accounts. Prepare journal entries, bank reconciliations, escrow and mortgage analyses, process payments, set up new properties/accounts, monitor cash and recurring entries, and support auditors, owners, and team members while training junior staff and filling in for the Accounting Manager as needed.

The Senior Accountant will oversee compensation accounting, ensuring accuracy in month-end close processes, compliance with SOX, and coordinate audits while driving process improvements.
