Build and operate the billing spine using TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL, ensuring idempotent processing, accurate financial reporting, and reliable cutover from free to paid API access. Make architecture decisions, verify agent-produced code, instrument failures, and protect production revenue correctness.

Design and build scalable, reliable, observable, and well-tested backend or distributed systems. Use AI-assisted development tools to code, test, document, and design while validating generated outputs. Contribute to architecture and technical direction, apply systems thinking across data models, APIs, and service boundaries, and mentor peers. The role requires collaboration across Product, UX, and Engineering in a hybrid Austin environment.

Lead a hands-on software engineering effort for Zeta’s real-time events pipeline. Design, build, deploy, and operate high-volume event ingestion, processing, and delivery systems. Own architecture, reliability, observability, performance, cost, data quality, and on-call improvements. Collaborate with Product, Data, and downstream platform teams, define stable interfaces and SLAs, evaluate technologies, lead production launches, and mentor engineers through design and code reviews.

Build and support partner-facing API integrations across Bilt’s payments, loyalty, commerce, and subscription ecosystem. Write production Java, SDKs, reference implementations, documentation, and prototypes; troubleshoot cross-system issues; define API contracts and architectures; support testing and launches; lead technical demos; and advocate internally for partner and platform improvements. The role requires close collaboration with partner engineers, product, sales, partnerships, and support teams.

Own the specification, design, and implementation of features for FareHarbor’s large-scale web application.
