The Senior Commercial and Product Counsel will negotiate commercial agreements, oversee privacy compliance, and advise product teams, focusing on AI, regulations, and IP strategies within a healthcare context.

Lead and execute commercial contracting for enterprise SaaS customers, negotiating MSAs, SOWs, order forms, and data protection terms. Advise sales and revenue teams on risk vs. commercial tradeoffs, collaborate with Security/Privacy on compliance, own AI-specific contract terms, and build contracting playbooks and templates to scale revenue operations.

Lead and build Synquery's legal and compliance function: design compliance programs, draft and negotiate commercial agreements, manage legal risk for AI-enabled products, advise leadership, establish policies and governance, manage outside counsel, and support corporate and entity matters.

Advise stakeholders and lead end-to-end negotiations of MSAs, data licensing, and commercial agreements. Partner with Sales, Product, Security, and Ops to structure deals, implement legal tech, build contracting templates, playbooks and workflows, and support strategic initiatives with the Head of Legal.

Serve as an experienced IP attorney bridging customers and product: run demos, lead pilots/POCs, translate patent workflows into product requirements, guide roadmap and QA, and produce customer-facing collateral while collaborating across Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Partnerships.

Provide broad corporate legal support: draft, review, and negotiate commercial and SaaS agreements; advise cross-functional teams on compliance; develop policies; conduct legal research; coordinate with outside counsel; assist with corporate governance, entity matters, and special projects to mitigate risk and support business objectives.

Provide day-to-day commercial legal support: draft and negotiate MSAs, SaaS agreements, BAA/DPA, vendor and partnership contracts; advise on privacy, HIPAA, FDA/CMS and AI-related product counseling; build contract templates, playbooks, and legal operations improvements; partner with Sales, Product, Security, and Procurement; manage outside counsel and streamline contracting workflows.

Assist the General Counsel with day-to-day legal operations: draft and review NDAs, employment and contractor documents, support corporate governance, and help negotiate commercial and content licensing agreements. Conduct IP research on copyright and trademark issues, support deal due diligence and execution, and participate in cross-functional projects to develop legal templates, policies, and risk-management practices.

First in-house counsel to build Nevis Wealth's legal function: own commercial contracting, privacy and data governance, corporate governance and fundraising support, legal operations and automation, employment/IP matters, and counsel product/security teams. Partner across Sales, Product, Finance, People, and Security while reducing external counsel spend and enabling scalable legal processes for a fast-growing fintech.
