The Senior HR Specialist leads employee relations, partners with management on HR programs, drives improvements, and mentors other HR staff.

Serve as HR Business Partner for North American Supply Chain, advising senior leaders on workforce planning, talent management, succession, engagement, change management, and employee relations. Collaborate with COEs to implement HR initiatives, drive leadership development programs, monitor HR KPIs, and support plant HR and internal warehouse partnerships to improve organizational effectiveness and retention.

Partner with North America Supply Chain leadership to provide strategic HR consultation on workforce planning, talent management, succession, change leadership, employee relations, and HR program implementation. Coach leaders, collaborate with COEs, drive HR metrics and engagement, support leadership development, and ensure compliance and effective HR operations across plants and warehouses.

The role involves high-volume recruitment for manufacturing positions, building relationships, managing job offers, and developing candidate pipelines.

Serve as the primary L&D strategic partner for assigned global functions, diagnose capability gaps using data, design multi-year capability plans, commission and oversee learning programs (blended, digital, AI-enabled), apply performance consulting, manage the learning portfolio and vendors, report impact to leaders, and collaborate across HR, COE, and AI Enablement to align learning with business outcomes.

Support site leaders across the Scarborough manufacturing plant on employee relations, recruitment, contract and compliance administration, HR lifecycle activities, and continuous improvement. Manage local recruitment events, talent pools, right-to-work and GDPR compliance, share HR insights with stakeholders, and partner with regional and global HR teams to deliver a strong employee experience.

Support development and execution of a global training strategy for a supply chain transformation. Gather and synthesize regional input, coordinate alignment activities, maintain training calendar, track progress, enable regional teams to operationalize training, tailor content, manage stakeholders across time zones, and collect post-rollout feedback to drive adoption and continuous improvement.

Lead and manage all factory-related employee training at the Carberry food processing plant, including qualification processes, trainer development, budgeting, planning, recordkeeping and LMS/eLearning. Coach trainers and supervisors, support quality, safety and continuous improvement (SPC), coordinate cross-plant activities, and ensure training methods across online, classroom, hands-on and on-the-job formats to support a 24-hour operation.

The HR Specialist will support HR processes including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, and lifecycle activities, fostering employee engagement and compliance with HR policies.

The Talent Brand Specialist will enhance McCain's employer brand through creative content, partnerships, and talent acquisition strategies in North America.
