One-year contract Staff Accountant to support back-office accounting for an RIA. Responsibilities include general ledger maintenance, month-end close, reconciliations, AP/AR, cash management, payroll accounting, 1099 and tax support, audit documentation, and supporting implementation/testing of a new GL system.

The Staff Accountant will assist with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other basic accounting tasks as needed by the team.

Seeking a Staff Accountant Contractor to manage financial reporting, AP/AR processing, month-end closing activities, and budget analysis, collaborating with an in-house team.

Manage full-cycle accounting including AP, AR, payroll reconciliation, and financial reporting. Maintain QuickBooks Online records, perform reconciliations, support budgeting, audits, tax documentation, and accounting system integrations while ensuring compliance and process improvements.

Maintain financial records and perform cost accounting for manufacturing inventory, manage standard costs, support month-end close and reconciliations, prepare payroll journal entries and serve as payroll backup, support audits and year-end inventory verification, and provide ad-hoc financial analysis to the Controller.
