Supports optics R&D for light-adjustable intraocular lenses by conducting interferometric, MTF, and other optical measurements; developing lens nomograms; preparing data and engineering documentation; designing, modifying, and assembling optical systems and test fixtures; and maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment. Collaborates with engineering staff on prototype fabrication, testing, and product development.

Build and operate highly scalable Go backend services and data infrastructure for the AT Protocol ecosystem. Scale systems to support hundreds of millions of users, hundreds of millions of events, petabytes of NVMe storage, thousands of CPU cores, and tens of terabytes of RAM. Responsibilities include developing mission-critical services, managing production operations, and working with databases, distributed systems, operating systems, networking, and storage technologies.

Leads the design, fabrication, instrumentation, and operation of test infrastructure for deployable space mechanisms and flight hardware. Owns development, acceptance, and qualification test campaigns; authors procedures and plans; reviews data; investigates anomalies; and drives hardware improvements. Responsibilities include DAQ architecture, test stand fabrication, test readiness reviews, test direction, configuration control, and mentoring engineers and technicians.

Own and deliver a product surface end-to-end within PayZen's provider and partner platform. Build reliable, AI-native features in a compliance-regulated environment (HIPAA/PCI-DSS/SOC 2), identify gaps, write clear stakeholder-facing documentation, mentor junior engineers, participate in hiring, and automate shared tooling.

Designs, deploys, maintains, troubleshoots, and secures enterprise storage infrastructure, including SAN, NAS, unified, object, and Kubernetes-integrated storage. Automates provisioning and lifecycle management with Terraform, Ansible, and scripting; administers Linux systems, filesystems, multipath I/O, and volume managers; manages replication and disaster recovery; monitors performance and capacity; and supports CI/CD and GitOps storage workflows.

Develop and test embedded firmware in C/C++ for implantable and external medical devices. Responsibilities include device drivers, communication interfaces, hardware bring-up, debugging, automated testing, integration, defect investigation, and regulated documentation under ISO 13485 and IEC 62304. The role collaborates with hardware, software, and research teams and requires hands-on onsite laboratory work.

Administer and optimize enterprise Linux and Windows infrastructure, VMware virtualization, storage, networks, firewalls, cloud services, and business applications. Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning, backups, replication, testing, and system restoration. Contribute to cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, incident response, access controls, and network security. Provide application, endpoint, Active Directory, and infrastructure support while coordinating vendors, maintaining documentation, and ensuring 24x7 availability.

Own customer implementations of a voice AI platform from pre-sales through production. Responsibilities include translating customer workflows into engineering solutions, building demos, developing system integrations, deploying AI agents, debugging edge cases, improving performance, and incorporating customer feedback into product improvements. The role combines software development, customer engagement, technical problem-solving, and product collaboration.

Lead and grow the Flight Software team while owning architecture, development, integration, testing, and delivery of embedded flight software. Oversee C++ applications, STM32 firmware, embedded Linux, hardware interfaces, onboard autonomy, security, releases, and HIL infrastructure. Collaborate with GNC, simulation, electrical, systems, and test teams to deliver reliable, reproducible, secure, flight-ready software for interceptor systems.

Build and scale secure backend microservices for payments, disbursements, and governance, risk, and compliance workflows. Design distributed systems capable of handling millions of daily requests using Google Cloud and modern infrastructure tools. Collaborate with product, operations, and compliance teams, mentor junior engineers, and improve platform capabilities through analytics and user feedback. The role requires strong software engineering fundamentals, REST API experience, fintech or financial systems knowledge, and familiarity with event-driven and hexagonal architectures.
