Design and build automated test capabilities for V-BAT: define and automate system-level test cases, implement interfaces/drivers for simulation and hardware, prototype and harden test solutions, and support release and flight test activities working with GNC and Embedded teams.

Design, install, validate, and maintain flight test instrumentation and DAQ systems for autonomous VTOL aircraft. Develop and maintain control and autonomy algorithms for the V-BAT codebase across full lifecycle: algorithm design, software implementation, unit/component tests, flight software qualification, flight test support, and simulation model updates and validation. Work on control systems for unmanned aerial systems and robotics, including outer-loop path planning/trajectory synthesis and hierarchical software integration.

Lead structural analysis for UAV airframes and components using FEA and hand calculations. Execute static, modal, fatigue, vibration, and damage-tolerance analyses; validate models against tests; support flight test correlation; optimize structures for weight, performance, cost, and manufacturability; mentor analysts; and coordinate cross-functionally to influence structural design decisions and standards.

Lead design, integration, and validation of ground control station and communications architectures for military aircraft and autonomous systems. Define system behaviors, network architectures, link budgets, and interfaces; integrate RF, SATCOM, datalinks, encryption, and networking components; coordinate cross-functional teams; and support lab, field, and flight tests to ensure reliable command, control, telemetry, and mission data exchange.

Lead design, integration, and fielding of autonomy software on unmanned platforms. Develop mission behaviors, platform control, multi-agent coordination, and deployment pipelines; own validation from simulation to live tests. Drive technical strategy, cross-team architecture, standards compliance, mentor senior engineers, and support on-site test/mission operations and hardware/software debugging.

Lead mechanical test design, build, and operation of fixtures and hydraulic systems. Integrate and calibrate sensors, automate tests with Python, perform FEA and CAD design, analyze test data, and produce technical reports to inform hardware design and ensure structural performance and durability.
