Execute and lead packaging test programs: follow test plans, evaluate and record results, build/adapt test setups, operate and maintain test equipment, communicate with customers and technical staff, and drive continuous improvement and automation in the lab.

Evaluate safety and reliability of functional materials (plastics, films, rubber, insulation, wire/cable) including automotive applications; respond to technical inquiries on product safety standards, automotive standards and regulations; verify product specifications, define test programs, and manage certification projects end-to-end; coordinate and arrange material testing with domestic and overseas labs; technically review test results and prepare reports, including English communication for global projects.

Manage and execute product testing projects: define scope, develop test programs, coordinate lab activities and technicians, communicate with clients, resolve nonconformances, prepare reports, and support continuous improvement and test method development.

Perform safety evaluation and certification of industrial products and components; respond to customer inquiries on safety standards and regulations; manage projects from technical meetings through certification; coordinate with internal departments and communicate with domestic and international engineers and labs.

Manage and execute testing, inspection, and certification projects for fire suppression products. Define project scope, establish test programs, coordinate laboratory activities and technicians, evaluate product compliance to standards (e.g., UL, EN), prepare technical reports, communicate with clients, and support certification and continuous improvement while ensuring quality and safety.

Lead local quality initiatives: perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, design and maintain quality systems, run internal and external audits to ISO and related standards, develop quality metrics (including SPC), and drive continuous improvement.

Perform CFD and thermal simulations for electronics cooling at component, board, enclosure, and subsystem levels. Set up models, run steady-state and transient analyses, post-process results, correlate with test data, support V&V and certification needs, and document findings. Learn mesh strategy, solver settings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams under senior engineer guidance.

Lead and manage certification projects for switching devices: define scope and specifications, establish and execute test programs, prepare client reports, develop UL/IEC test methods, resolve engineering issues, train and direct staff, and represent the company at industry events. Frequent travel to client sites for testing may be required.

Provide global technical leadership for data center laboratory testing: standardize and advance test methods, safety, equipment strategies, and staff competency. Define lab capability roadmaps, drive automation and efficiency, develop training, collaborate with Principal Engineers to translate standards and customer requirements into test methods, and support complex instrumented test setups and troubleshooting.

Lead and manage product safety projects from scope to delivery: define test programs, coordinate lab and field activities, communicate with clients, resolve technical and compliance issues, develop special test methods/equipment, train staff, and represent UL on technical committees. Frequent client travel and project-handling of complex products required.
